Maraketh Legion mobs ARE BROKEN

Any rare legion mob types are not a problem when you doing white to yellow tier map. Once you reach t14-t16, and rolling map mods with extra crit / damage / speed / projectile, that iss where the problem begin. There are 3 monsters that you need to pay attention and deal with them immediately.

1) Eternal Empire Shield Banger (a dude that slam his shield, creating shockwaves or summoning flame lions.). Either you kill him ASAP, or you quickly move away from his line of sight and deal with him later as he is not really a threat if you simply outrange him.

2) Eternal Empire Spear Thrower. Kill this dude ASAP before he throw his spear at you. If there are mobs near you, like the shield banger, quickly retreat away from their line of sight. Once the shield banger stop banging his shield, quickly cleave them both.

3) Last, is The Maraketh Guy with dagger, that blinks away to you from 20000 meters away. This guy deal tons of damage and able to one shot you in extra damage / crit map mod + if there are another rares that giving him "deal substantial physical damage" or "extra physical damaage". Either you kill him as quickly as possible when the timer expires, or playing dodge + evasion character that also able to blind enemies, or spec into a build that has mediocre damage with high damage mitigation that able to brawl with enemies.

For me particularly, the solution is playing a high dps / burst build with enough defense to prevent some bs damage. I sometimes still getting one-shotted, but its only when I don't really pay attention to the game. Hopefully those 3 points will help you, as those are my threat-assessment when opening monolith in t15-16 maps.

I never recommended you go pure evasion, just pointed out it works. In high maps too. Obviously you won't be OP with increased accuracy enemies, that was just a stupid statement, I'm gonna avoid that mod. And getting one shot is my point, that's why you pop it before that can happen and you won't be one shot. Your character is bad, and you don't know how to play, I don't care if you use other bad players guides.

If I have only 1 Map that is corrupted, but unfortunately haves a bad mod, I'm not going to waste that map. If I find the damn Maraketh I'm not going to waste the opportunity to get those splinters.

But I can see that you are a veteran, so please, instead of saying I'm bad at that game and build is bad, please help me out, bless with your knowlage of advanced game mechanics to better my build.
NOTE: Pure evasion doesn't count has help.

Unfortunately it's not for lack of attention. Since I got raped 3rd time in this league by legion mobs, I pay special attention to the Maraketh mobs. I even decided to put 2 mobility skills so I could gape close those damn archers and run if necessary from those teleport mobs.

But I'm going to try out switching flasks like hedebasi said.

I never told you to go evasion, I said you need defenses, and a guard skill. With those there won't be a problem, I'm not anything near a vet either, just shows how bad you are. Especially from the fact you claim to use guides and still can't figure this stuff out.

Edit: P.S. Healthy arguing? I stated obvious problems with your character and you told me to read a guide. Seriously, you're using a guard skill that is blatantly not meant for your character, and then not using it for strong enemies like it's supposed to be.

If you go pure evasion with sand stance and just rush everything it makes every enemy seem pathetic. You're basically attack immune.

I know you joined the game via console on Mar 25, 2019, but that doesn't mean it's your first time playing. The way o talked sounded to me like you were an hardened veteran in the game, so I didn't care about the date you joined at.

And I just told you to go check a guide for that gem combination, many people use that skill combination, I never stated I'm following one guide.

That evasion statement was in response to the thread, about Maraketh rares being OP. Not about your character. And this actually is the first time I've played the game, I've just spent way too much time in 90% of other ARPGs.

Yeh I could use a bit more of HP, and I plan on doing so, still I don't think it will help. I read that people with 7k+ HP still get 1 shoted by those guys.
At the moment I have 5.4k HP.

5.4k hp is way too low when you're doing red maps. You need at least 20k hp now when legion is out. Also probably more defenses, like 80+% resistances (including chaos) and 80+% armour.
