I've previously been a S-tier player in Everquest, holding rank placements in Diablo 3 during release, and for 3 years I was regarded as a top 5 raid leader in WoW. So when I say it's broken and not a skill issue, I mean it. Don't take this as something it isn't, just a high level players thoughts of game design.

Not being mean but your build really sucks if you can't beat the story.

S-tier players and builds are a real thing. In Starcraft, there's the Code-S. So don't act like I'm the ignorant one, and definitely don't ever point a finger at someone being constructive and call them a freaking troll just because you are some type of mental stoolpidgeon.

That's one off issue. Since you haven't mentioned about your actual marauder build, I just suggest to use Melee Totem and Vaal skill which doubles/triples your burst damage or even does the most part while avoiding damages/as a front-loading damage.

Mobs have a certain amount of effective HP. It's limited so that we have to meet certain requirements. If we didn't, we might have to endure some sort of unpleasant gameplay which is not really their whole intention.

They've even added new modifiers in skill function itself to have better scaling. But that doesn't mean we have full functional skill from the beginning. Bosses are to be beaten, supposed to gate the players progression. Rares can be skipped but (I assume) they are buffed by alot so that we can acknowledge its potential threat before we die without warning. (in this particular patch, they got a lot of durability comparing to previous patches and we need to kill it reasonably quicker or we will have to go for tankyness rather than to be balanced or glass-cannon.)
