More physical goods, ie merchandising, is a great idea. I love having physicals goods I can wear/show off to show what I choose to support with my money.
I just bought a dota2 shirt that came with an in game item. I think something like this would be awesome. Give me an ingame aesthetic item AND a physical item. Shut up and take my money.
