[Not a bug] Client.txt doesn't record message from player with Korean character

Since 3.7.3 patch.

My Client.txt in logs folder doesn't record message from player with Korean character

So my trade tool can't work with player with Korean character.


Staff edit: not a bug. This is required by Korean law.

Same. Half of trade messages doesnt got through, since they not recorded in log file.

This essentially breaks all third party trading tools.

Same issue here, extremely frustrating trying to trade with our new Korean friends when the trade apps don't function anymore.

Edit: Also it doesn't look like it's just Korean characters, someone just pmed me with name's only unusual character being "_" and it also didn't appear in client.txt

Worth nothing is that Cyrillic script (Russian) appears just fine.

Same here. Started since 3.7.3 patch. Right before the patch it was fine for me.
Today my TC just can't trigger at whispers with korean character in nicknames because those initial whispers don't appear in client.txt
Though seems after the invite our chat logged in that file

at first i just deleted client.txt thinking it got clogged but the problem persists
