Trade messages from players with Korean symbol names not appearing in Client.txt
As in title, as of last patch whenever someone tries to trade me, and he has name in Korean symbols, his message does not appear at all in Client.txt, and because of this it means that the message can't be parsed by commonly used MercuryTrade etc. Messages with normal letters show up just fine.

Same here. Makes trading even more annoying when doing so in large quantities. Please fix!

in my client.txt are also some messages missing without any special characters in the players names. and strangely the "... has joined/left the area." messages aren't missing.
edit: could be a 3.7.3 related issue Last edited by Banthaa#5342 on Jun 30, 2019, 4:11:56 AM

Can we get this fixed soon please? Trading is bad enough as it is...

I wonder if there ever will be a way around this?
I know the other post was answered that it is Korean law as to why client.txt isn't recording them. Is there any way they could provide an alternative that would still let us trade? Like post the message but withhold the name? Or even any indicator at all that a message came in but was "blocked", so we can filter a noise off of it or something. Also worth noting names with underscores are also not working. |
