[Fixed in 3.8] Game is crashing if i alt-tab during area loading

And if I try to switch to desktop and there is no other window (e.g. browser or explorer window) open, then I get a message box "Texture 2D" and then POE crashes...

Happens to me too since legion... seen many threads and no response from GGG yet. They should atleast say if they are looking into it or not.

Same things happening to me as well. I run windowed borderless mode and I still crash every time I start the game

Was about to post this bug. But Im see Im not the only one, so +1 then.
Happens to me too. Only in fullscreen mode. Not always I wanna play borderless tho. |

" There are reasons in existence why this is not a good fix for some people. I haven't had problems with this bug since I don't alt-tab much while I'm playing, but I play the game in real fullscreen mode because it doesn't get along well with my 144hz Freesync monitor in windowed borderless mode (I see lots of flickering). |

Cannot replicate. Maybe your hardware is insufficient?
oh actually if you're running fullscreen, you can blame Windows. This isn't a PoE issue. This cannot be replicated on Linux. They are also not interested in fixing it. enable vsync
