A month on from when the network provider was asked to 'look into it' and nothing has changed. Peering is the same. Either they have no intention of doing anything or they're all on holiday!

" VPN? Are u kidding me? It's a big project with servers on all world. VPN? OMG I would rather remove this game than use third-party resources. This is not an easy fix. Our provider has been attempting to negotiate new peering, but have had several setbacks. The current estimate for the peering being negotiated is 1-2 weeks.

Yeah, we have a couple of servers with another provider that you're hitting with the increased ping, I think.
If anyone else could get a current MTR to speedtest.tok02.softlayer.com, it would be helpful (especially if you're with Roseltelecom). | |

rostelekom throws from 40 to 80, on a server with ping 80 bursts to 130.
