Good idea for an item but needs some defensive link to light radius to be usable, like 1 life per light radius or damage reduction per 10 light radius.

I've done a build with corona solaris before so am sort of familiar with the values of light radius you can actually get and this unique just doesn't fly as is.

You'd get a reasonable amount of damage but not enough when you factor in no fossil + no lab enchant, and that isn't even including that it has no defensive stats.

Here's a thought, what if the light radius damage conversion is NOT the important part of the item?

What is the fact you deal NO chaos damage is something you can somehow take advantage of, when you combine this item with things who's downside is dealing chaos damage to yourself?

I think the flavour text and maybe the 3d art (for skin transfers) is the best part of this item.

I can have -100% area of effect with this
All things considered this item will be trash until more sources of light radius become available. It will also practically see no use in SSF even with "passives" introduced to the tree because light radius on items is limited, uncommon, and or gated behind certain uniques that have various level requirements.

The aoe should be 1 to 1 with how AoE was changed... Most abilities will not see decent aoe until they level due to their radius increments with progression. I really don't understand this item taking up one of the few we are getting for the league. Really upsetting!

Four primary slots that will provide barely any life, energy shield, armor or evasion. That is incredibly bad but for making the helmet practical could be fun if the helmet had better scaling and or their were items with better defenses. I'm not saying "amazing" defenses are needed at level 30-49 but this helmet as previously stated utilizes many uniques to be efficient and those uniques are a death sentence in hc..

Is self-dealt damage not damage you deal?
