yea ggg really stepping it up. I agree with this huge nerf for sire because of ball lightning and all the complaints about it. i think they did the right choice to make this massive nerf to sire.

so what is the next skill we should complaint about? because ggg is listening might as well list all the broken skill so it can be fixed/nerf now, otherwise they might slack off again and forget about pvp.

well 3.7 is literally melee league.

I hope melee also really vialbe in pvp.

I think if you socket Ball Lightning into 6 link chest, and still use sire of shards, no damage penalty?

ill pass i heard you one shot people with it.
btw bl only work with sire because sire provide 4 extra projectile and shoot in nova (this is how you see alot of balls around your screen instead of just flying in one directions, which make it very op)

if they use bl in the chest it will be useless because they won't get the extra projectile from sire so you don't have to worry about bl ever anymore is garbage now.

so whoever still complaints about ball lightning/sire after the patch goes live needs to either quit pvping or just move on with their lifes instead of playing poe anymore.

however,.... i think the damage penalty actually may not be enough. Block pen gem strips block and evasion. But, i think everyone has a better chance at closing in the gap. Maybe a cwdt-flame dash to close in.

but serious, melee can be good. lets test in safe environment.
I used to be melee. You have superior mobility as melee. (but my gc miner is still very very fast)

Like i said. Hard pass playing vs you is like egg vs rock haha also my pvp gear is less than 2ex can't compete with all your insanity gear mate =)

fair enough. if gc miner gets the next round of nerfs, then actually self-cast isn't too bad.
credit to Relith, but he had a very nice redundant unleash idea. stacking 2 redundant physical spell gems with 1 unleash setup. so, sacrificing true 6 link setup for 2x purifying flame with unleash. You can spam the two back to back and have minimal downtime in the burst window.

so self-cast is not that bad. 2x unleash purifying flame can pretty much delete anything.
