Labyrinth Trials - RNG

Another solution to this problem, which is currently available, is to just play standard.

Actually a good one, league is fairly fucked at the moment anyway.
Non-functional till month 2, buggy till month 3.

The only reason therefore is to actually play because of the economy... which GGG screws over as well.

Well, and the challenges, but if it's solely to obtain the MTX there then that should say enough about the game already, not worth your time without getting some shiny new outfit, got to be a shallow game-play then.

But yeah, sadly a good solution that's working... simply because GGG won't address that anyway most likely. 'It always worked' yeah... a rusted broken car from 1960 which has never been repaired might 'work' too... at the same level.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease.
Everything fixed but still broken.

I stopped playing Blizzard games due to the ridiculous amounts of RNG in their games. And was really pleased to see that PoE is very different in that regard, with the exception of trials double RNG layers.

Ugh, trading is the only reason PoE isn't RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG, yet you play SSF? You can't tell me any blizzard game has more RNG than PoE.

Personally I think that if you have problems finding all the trials, you are not playing the game "enough" from GGG perspective. The entire game is a shitton of grinding if you want to play it at a reasonable level.

@Fruz, did I play against you in MTG Arena yesterday in the evening? There was a player called "fruz" unless I misremember.

I have a MTG arena account ( I think called Fruz ) but I haven't touched it for more than a month, so ... not yesterday, unless got hacked t__t I'll check lol
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
Complaining always works!
Got the missing Trial on the first spawn after i wrote this post.
And the following maps spawned 3-4 more on top of that. Before i had days without seeing a single trial. Well RNG i guess?

To all those who say PoE has alot of RNG. Its and ARPG and RNG is part of that genre, and yet i never had the feeling where i have no control over my character progression / customization until i hit that ascendancy-trial wall of unluckiness.

As i said, this is my first league in PoE and i might not have seen everything to really judge upon the game.
But untill now, there always was an alternative way to almost every RNG aspect in the game.

need a certain item affix / suffix - craft it
u have good affixes but bad stats - reroll them
got a good piece but its missing something - crafting table
need socket / links - gamble or crafting table
looking for a certain recipe - game tells u where to get it
need a certain map - trade em up
need crafting mats - trade em up / vendor recipe (only EX+Divine need to drop?)
looking for a certain unique - chance / ancient orb

Theres alot of RNG, but also alot of determenistic ways of getting the same result with time investment / farming. And thats what i was looking for and PoE did give me.

Except for trials, where i felt i have no control over and am at the mercy of goddes luck.
And thats why i suggested to add the guaranteed missing spawn on prophecies. So theres something u can work and do, to be sure u will get what ur looking for.

so long

Edit: And yes, i think Blizzards games have more RNG, because they often lack these alternative, determinisitc ways to get what u want.
