You don't know how timezones work.

If league start is 9 am NZT May 11th, you subtract 16 hours from that to get the EST time of 5 pm May 10th. Central timezone is an hour behind eastern, so 4 pm. mountain is an hour behind central or two hours behind eastern, so 3 pm. Finally, pacific has a time gap an hour behind mountain, and 3 hours behind eastern so 2 pm.

Yeah, everybody that wants to join can join it. It's like a new league, where everybody starts with absolutely nothing at all, but it's not a new league, I mean, there is no new content. There are contents from previous leagues instead of new league content. You create a fresh new character and play normally. All your stash tabs will start completely empty.

You can practice a little bit before the event, so you can progress the 10 acts faster. You can start thinking what is the best build to start with (cheap and powerful) and practice with it, so you will have a strong start...
