Developer Questions and Answers
Why are challenge rewards always pet/headgear, back attachments, portals?
I'd like to see more variety if possible (betrayal aura was great).
With PoE part of the fun is getting your character up to snuff and clearing content and as the game gets more and more of that content that is harder to clear, how do you reconcile with the fact that a portion of your player base simply won't get to enjoy playing the game, and in some cases simply give up due to poor drops, coupled with the fact that trade simply doesn't feel good or accessible?
I'm not suggesting doing away with RNG, I'm curious what safeguards you feel you've put in place and if none what the solution could maybe be? |

1) Do you guys have any plans to address the issue people are having with sustaining maps, particularly red tier?
2) Also, the change you made with adjacent uncompleted maps dropping has made target farming red tier maps impossible. Before, if you wanted to run Caldera, you would simply remove all maps on the same tier and the one above. Then the only map in that range that could drop is Caldera. Now, if you do the same thing, any maps adjacent to Caldera will drop instead. I believe this change has had a huge impact with people running red maps. 3) Do you guys have any plans to address the challenge of sustaining elder/shaper influence when trying to chain maps? Before, you could either plant elder and have him sit there indefinitely and the influence would be locked in place (Now elder just despawns ruining any influence blob you setup). Then the elder ring came about where you could setup unlimited elder influence. Do you have any plans to make it easier and less frustrating to keep the influence up while farming maps? I find myself extremely frustrated and view it as more of a hassle anymore because about half the time I could have spent mapping, I am trying to battle to keep influence on my map. This is especially vital when farming T16 maps. 4) What does GGG have to say about the people upset over the history of nerfs (mainly in regards to zana mods such as breach, beyond, harbringer, etc...). There are many that feel zana mods have taken a turn for the worse and we miss the fun days of running breach and powerful zana mods. Thank you for your time reading this. Sorry if there are any duplicates.
Do any of the PoE team particularly enjoy SSF, or HC, or even SSFHC? If you could snap your fingers, and another challenge type showed up (besides our cool new private leagues) what might that look like? Just curious, as a player who just fell in love with SSF life this league.

from a reddit post
" u don't want ur emplyees work 14 hour days but u want ur players to work 24 hour days with this obnoxious trading systems where u need to camp sometimes even week if not more to find item u need just to get insignificant boost for ur character why cant we have trading automated and save countless of hours instead of having to sit there and waste itme that we coudl spend somehwere else (and those who dont do that simply just quit and do something else)
" This sums up much. | |
Recently, Chris has announced that Synthesis is not going core.
This announcement, while great for our general knowledge, has also driven the prices of certain items out of wack. I've personally saved up a lot of money trying to buy those items, and now, they are far more expensive than they were before. Obviously, I'd want to have information like this. Just as obvious, I don't want my plans and the economy to go into the gutter with such an announcement. Does GGG have a way to both give the information, and not affect such plans? |

2 Questions:
nvm answered already in FAQ 2.) Has there been any talk of adding transparency settings to reduce clutter? MTX, Minions, Skill effects, etc. Some builds cover the screen too much in party play. Thank you for reading. Last edited by Video on May 3, 2019, 1:48:37 AM

Any plans in adding MTX trading, or as a in-game drop?
Skin Transfer should be free or obtainable in game... |
