Betrayal Loading Lag

Wanna see faster fix for syndicate, rly lags 2 much...

@GGG : it's not only hard plate hard drives. I (and I'm not the only one) can notice several lag issues depending on configuration or events (syndicate or some others) and I have a very nice computer with NVMe drive (and full ssd for others).

This game needs a lot of bug corrections and improvments, especially making the game less server oriented. Since Bestiary things have gone really loosy on this side.

note as example : just reported a bug yesterday, trying a new build (provided build within report) : just activating RF at the same time using all my minions make the game close to unplayable (every thing fine so far I'm using either RF or minions alone)). My connection is fine (speaking@dicord with my mates without any issue) and my computer is fine to (not even too much loaded by the bug). Just mecanics in game that shouldn't even be related seems to make the game shaky and not usable with crowed maps.

I was going to drop some money early in the laague for some more stash tabs and a map stash tab. Decided not to beings my game is basically unplayable due to this. My load times make the game nearly unbearable too. No fix on load times till "later this year"? Looks like im still going to be paying samsung to play GGG's game instead of giving GGG money any time soon.

It's very satisfying to see you aknowledged the problem, found the source, the paliative fix and the final solution you are planning.

The only problem is the TIME you made a post about it. There are reports of the problem since day one in the league, and you make an aknoloedge post more than one month after that.

Next time a simple "we are aware of the problem and are investigating, but we have no estimated time" as soon as possible would be great and would help calm down the community.

About the paliative, it's way better to wait a couple more minutes on loading screen than waste hours of your life because of exp loss on Betrayal lag.

I am using the --noasync launcher command act 9 onwards as syndicate encounters meant instant freeze and death in synthetis. Now of course this commands make the loading way longer for every zone.
The changes you are talking about will let me switch of that --noasync and so 90% (at first approximation) of my load time will greatly improve.

there are some other "non loaded events", prophecies mostly (like the exile in stromboxe one) that the --noasync trick doesn't solve too.

Also all the ssd white knights are full of it, because telling people to "buy SSD's" (which btw don't even solve the problem because SSD users get it too) because one encounter from 1 past league's mechanic got mucked up (obviously this didn't exist in 3.5), is going to have to opposite effect of people just saying "fuck this unoptimized arpg game from 2013 that needs an SSD lol, filled with bugs and lag while every other game i have works fine... and then they quit. So i mean if you're actually white knighting broken/unoptimized software and you want people to quit PoE then go right ahead.

I've been LOVING this game as I learn more. I can't wait to log on each day, but for a while I knew I'd probably end up with less xp than I started with because of the betrayal lag.

I don't know what you guys did with that 10min patch last night, but my loading screens are about 1/4 of previous times, everything looks better, and 0 lag for betrayal spawns. So relieved and excited to go hard this weekend. TYTY!
