Heyo, big dumb idiot here: the PoB tree has EE and EO taken but the latest gear doesn't have anything that'd proc those - guessing those were removed in the latest version but PoB hasn't been updated? Or am I missing what would trigger them in that gear?

Sorry, I meant proc them automatically - I found some builds with wands that would cast that stuff for them as they'd cast other spells. Must be casting manually, then. Thanks!

you can indeed cast trigger if you have a suffix, but i prefer more damage mods in this case

Why Aegis Aurora is best for this build? We have low chance for block so es recovery on block isn't very useful, and extra damage is for attacks and we use spells.

Instead I'm thinking of +1 cold spell skill gems shield, but that takes away either es or spell dmg.

Just a good shield.
In pob you will see +1 shield

I'd like to not recommend this build to anyone. Damage can be good for maps but it doesn't have any immunities/mitiagtions. I literally died to everything and since it's DoT build, you can't kill all enemies instantly (even though it's fine for mapping t16 even without min/maxed dps).

As you can see by my gear i focused on defences and not dps. Well, truth to be told I focused on completing challenges and getting carried by others. This build was hopeless. I know my items could have been improved a lot, but no amount of dps and es would save it, I'm afraid.

The fact that build was made for v3.7 and wasn't really improved since then should speak for itself, but if it doesnt speak to you like it didn't to me, here's my written statement. It's not worth.



PS. I know that I could have changed flasks after getting bleeding immunity shield but at that point I was already finishing 40/40.

PS2. I saw only 3 other players using Creeping Frost this league (Ritual), they all played CI, trigger wands and a little bit different spell setup.

How much ES leech on hit you have there? Your characters are private and i have a feeling you didn't grab the "idea" of my build.

Funny you say that I didn't get idea of your build. I actually had a problem with this for a longest time, because your guide and PoB are basically two different builds when it comes to gear. It was very confusing to me.

PoB shows 2881 while your shows 3000. I wouldn't say that's an issue, and after getting faster start of es recharge it was actually good. I lacked a little bit of mana so I can say I didn't get this part to work but I got used to mana flask. The problem was, alch and go (damage mods) meant constant deaths. I died to freezes, burning, poison, bleeding, shock on ground, stuns (hence my flask setup). Oh and I died to slows too. Of course when I took maps slow like you did in your video i was fine, but then build was simply slow.

Like I said it's ok for mapping, and it's possible to kills bossess too if you just want to test yourself and try some progress (I failed my only Maven try but obviously it's a fight that takes some pratice, and it's a dps check too). I did Sirus, shaper and elder bosses (not sure if I did shaper or elder, I played a lot in party).

It's just slow and fragile build. It's sometimes funny to just shoot an attack and run around for few seconds watching boss hp going down, but with few nerfs since 3.7 and power creep making builds stronger and stronger, it doesn't cut it anymore, in my opinion.
