Bane Self Casting - Hardcore the game | ALL Content Viable

Hello guys.

I want to share my Self Cast Bane Build.

HOW THIS WORKS :
Spoiler

You need to aim and fire before mobs and bosses do it with you.
This is not for newbies.
You can't stop moving or hiding during fights.

Bane will apply linked curses , increasing damage for each one.
We run with Despair + Temporal Chains to increase Damage and Survivability.


PRO :
Spoiler

Good Chaos Damage.
Fast clear (not like Tornado Shot and similiar).
Good Life Pool.
You don't need to swap gems before bosses.


CONS :

You need to have Stone Golem always up.
No life Leech.
Life Regen build, and this won't be good for some players.


MAP MODS TO AVOID :

This is a huge DPS boost for our build plus it gives us Power Charges (we run with 4).

This armour gives us lot of damage and very good life.
It's not mandatory to have it 6L.

No need to argue why we use this. Good life and Unwavering Stance.

We use Essence Worm with Clear Mind to increase our damage, since Chaos Damage skill's haven't so much multipliers and flat adders.

HOW TO DO

Since we do Chaos Damage Over Time, HoGM can be a bit tedious.
We need to swap weapons and use a different skill when we encounter CI guys.
This skill is Scorching Ray.

I must say, you annoy me slightly right now....I was planning a Life Bane focus witch and you beat me to it. :P

I have a few Items that I will try and see if I can come up with a slightly better set-up.

I'm not planning on creating a new guide, but I will post my finding here so you can update yours.

EDIT: for jewel, 1 spreading rot will help greatly, 2 if you can spear the socket for a +13% chaos (Rare would be better but probably more expensive)

Hello Sir, sorry that was not my purpose. But we are here to try to be better players and to improve our builds so, why not, you can surely post here your items and ask me whatever you want.

I'm using 2 Spreading Rots Right now and the fourth Jewel will be Watcher Eye's with Bleeding immunity while Malevolence is active.

Each thing as TBD is because I'm not on my gaming PC and I don't have Path Of Building and game installed.

How do you feel about using 2 wand or wand+shield?
Using Allelopathy would give a pseudo 5 link for totem blight
and allow for heigher DPS or Tankiness

I got lucky and managed to get this wand

So we could dual wand this or add in a shield with shield charge+fortify and a better defense

What do you think?

I started with 2 Wands with Spell Damage and T1 Non-Ailment Chaos damage multiplier, but with that STAFF damage is very boosted.
Remember that you'll use 4 power charges.

If you use Allelopathy you must change your Boots, and you'll lose lot of life.

So, I don't know.

Maybe can you post a Pastebin Build where I can check the real differences?

I am not 100% sure if the set-up for the skills are right.
I just de-link the body to have Golem and flame dash seperated and I kept the boots empty I wasn't sure what to to link or if the boots was possible.

Your solution is surely good for DPS output, but you decrease your life by 375 points.
375 - is too much for a Regen-Based Build.
And why do you need double Flame Dash?
