End of League event sounds super fun. I LOVE the new starts.

Having the current league ending a couple of days before, eg wednesday would be awesome.
A couple of days to sort the first 20 tabs in standard before giving up is a ritual lol

Loving synth league and all the changes. Look forward to what ever is in store for the next one!

In his GDC talk Chris said that the first playable tester for synthesis was unusually and embarassingly late, unlike their standard practice. I have no reason to not believe this as all leagues before were in a much more polished state. I would argue that synthesis was an unlucky outlier and we should treat it as that.

Unfortunately, we will never get a deeper look into their internal development practices. Although it would be sure fun having a handheld video with live-commentary from Bex as she strolls through the offices.


I am so looking forward to what GGG is going to show us next week. And Mayhem sounds fun!

Having a break between leagues is good. I personally don't need them "oficially", I never played whole league up to last day, so I can make my own breaks. Sometimes I like to push few more challenges at the end of the league, but if there is someone, who is playing PoE 24/7/365 - for them it must be a health reset between the leagues. :)
What about some "Play what you want Days" between the Leagues, where you could take the Master of your choise with you into a map?

I personaly dont need a gab. I would be more than happy if you would test the new content more befor you release it.

I mean, as I fully hyped of the new content entered the first Memory with Level 3 and hundreds of Mobs attacking me, while an other hundred are offscreen shooting at me, bevor I even clicked the stabiliser, it was fully clear, that nobody tested these mechanic.

Perhaps you could releases the infos, for example new skills earlier, so that people could start theorycrafting their builds for the league earlier and not, when it has already started.

Dont change the gap between leagues. Let it stay the same, it is nice to have a bit of time in between!
Couple days to sort things from league transfer is much appreciated. Not everyone is a gogo gadget 12 yr old kid that don't care to keep his bedroom in an orderly fashion.

Make Map Stash tabs with a toggle switch on the tab itself where players can right-click and toggle the map series and stash WHATEVER maps they get from past leagues instead of keeping the broken "Remove-Only" Map Stashes that just clutter up the stash tabs we already have even after they are emptied. Once those tabs are empty & upon altering the current Map Stash Tab state to update to the more efficient one, simply remove the Remove-only map tabs.

I like the idea of making the next iteration less complicated and simplifying the league. Synthesis was too clunky. Betrayal was ok bc you could just kill and go. With Synthesis it's too clunky and cumbersome with the amount of time it takes to actually get the memory path types needed, plan them, make changes on unforseen distant memory spawns on your planned path, going back to maps to get replacement memory pieces of the right type, then going back and running the 10 planned maps in the queue, while hopefully not failing bc of overly fast decay on a single charge memory that could spoil the whole process bc you may have failed to get to the synthesizer in time (for whatever reason).

Looking forward to melee adjustments, but also wish to express the importance of having a stable and efficient game at launch.

proposing AGAIN that a 4-month League Schedule would be more sound to have an extra month for your internal testing to be more thorough before releasing the new content. Having to go through many bug-fix patches, hotfixes, yada yada from the very start of a league while having to endure poor performance issues (such as overly long loading screens) and missing consistent content ( only 1 Safehouse cleared so far bc of not enough Betrayal encounters) that SHOULD be available and playable, is something that can be more remedied through a 4 vs 3-month league schedule. that extra 4th month to a league could also be a time for a month-long race or community event while ironing out everything.
