If you’ve ever wanted to become the peak of performance, the pinnacle of min-max, the epitome of “over-powered”, the definition of dominant - look no further than CHAD Zerker. If you wanted to see the MOST tooltip damage in the game - consider the following calculations made by Albert Einstein on his Alpha tester PoE account before he passed away in 2004:




At this point you might be saying “This sounds amazing, outstanding, orgasmic, take me to the rest of the build guide!!!!”. Well my friend, feast your ravenous eyes on this - the CHAD Zerker takes on the best, brightest, and most exciting content Path of Exile has ever seen, or will ever see.

Cons
*None - Playing this build will be the 2nd most enjoyable and overpowered thing you experience in life. What’s the first most enjoyable thing? That my friend is a secret known as fi&*ing :)

Almost 30% of the league in both Softcore and Hardcore Synthesis is using Acrobatics - get this node. Why mitigate damage, when you can simply not TAKE any damage.



By taking Chaos Inoculation we ensure that those stupid spitter guys from Alva’s temples won’t do chaos damage to us.



We ensure that all possible elemental gem combinations are getting MAX efficiency by converting 50% of all damage into fire. Not even the mormons have that high of a conversion rate. Also, by using Atziri’s Promise flask, we gain SO much extra damage that not even physics experts at NASA can calculate the launch trajectory of our exponential damage - it actually defies the known laws of the universe.



Have you ever played an ARPG and felt like your damage wasn’t hitting enemies? Well the solution is here in the form of “Resolute Technique” which is without a doubt the single most overpowered keystone on the entire passive tree. Ziz and Mathil have both been quoted as saying these exact words “Resolute Technique is the only keystone in Path of Exile every build should plan around”.



For additional damage boosts, we grab both Elemental Overload, and Elemental Equilibrium. These are both exceptional DPS boosts. Don't believe me? Just check out the PoB numbers for yourself!

Use any gem combination you see fit. Because our gear is very versatile, we can take MAXIMUM advantage of the possibilities of the Tabula-Rasa’s white sockets and socket any 6 gems in the ENTIRE game. If you find me another build capable of such diversity, send it to Human Resources immediately, I’m sure they need it for meeting quotas.

A couple of personal suggestions for possible combinations:

Cast on Death - Molten Shell, Fireball, Firestorm, Magma Orb, Empower.
Herald of Ash - Burning Damage, Swift Affliction.
Anger - Enlighten, Empower, Generosity.
Double Strike - Added Chaos Damage, Added Cold Damage, Added Fire Damage, Added Lightning Damage, Brutality.
Bladefall - Greater Multiple Projectiles, Fork support, Lesser Multiple Projectiles, Vicious Projectiles, Increased Area of Effect
Unearth - Chain, Block Chance Reduction, Bonechill, Efficacy, Iron Will.
Ice Crash - Hypothermia, Added Cold Damage, Bonechill, Elemental Damage with Attacks, Brutality.
Lancing Steel - Elemental Focus, Elemental Proliferation, Controlled Destruction, Added Lightning Damage, Enlighten
Dark Pact - It only needs a single support gem: Minion and Totem Elemental Resistance.

We’ve got two different setups to choose from - we can either roll play as a Monk and go WEAPONLESS and smash things with our hairy Knuckles, or use the single most CHAD weapon in the game: Cospri's Malice. Why is Cosprio’s the single most CHAD weapon? Have you tried searching for any other unique that includes the word ‘Malice’ in its title? Try it, you won’t find another. This word alone sets the weapon apart from every other contender in the game.

Gear Set 1

Weapons:
2X Cospri’s Malice


I think it’s pretty self explanatory, with no explanation needed for why we use Cospri’s Malice. But for those of you that have less than a Rick sized IQ - our hits can NEVER be evaded by enemies thanks to Resolute Technique. This means that we’re ALWAYS hitting with our amazing abilities. We can socket ANY cold spell and know that it will trigger reliably thanks to scaling crit very efficiently.

Why dual wield Cospri’s? Because if a single Cospri’s is the best weapon in the game, imagine what TWO of them is? Yeah, the best weapon in the game TWICE.


Helmet:



Veil of the Night. This one is self explanatory. We don’t have room for a bunch of stupid rares in our build, because the CHAD Zerker is truly unique, we simply negate out any sort of resistance penalties from Kitava in Act 5 and Act 10 by equipping Veil of the night at level 22. This is your leveling helm, this is your endgame helm, this is the epitome of resistance training. If Frodo Baggins would have had been wearing this helmet, he wouldn’t have needed Gollum to bite off his finger to destroy the One ring.


Body Armour:



I’ve already teased out the flexibility of this build with the Tabula-rasa chest piece. It’s got gorgeous in game art. The only thing that comes close to being as aesthetically pleasing is the Mona Lisa, or Lisa Simpson, I’m not sure which. Have no level requirement means we can equip this bad boy at level one and never look back. I usually make sure to start playing the league 3-4 days late to ensure that another one of my guild mates can toss me a tabula-rasa. If I don’t start the league with this 3-4 day handicap I bore myself out since this build can accomplish everything it wants to within the first 8 hours of league launch.

Gloves:



Empire's grasp provides us with the very desirable and NOT totally useless mod “Knockback is reversed”. You might be thinking “Ya but why would you want to socket anything in Empire’s grasp on a 4 link instead of your tabula-rasa?” and I’m glad you asked, because we don’t socketed anything in Empire’s grasp at all. We take full advantage the 4th most broken combination in the game - Empire’s Grasp, and Lion’s Roar. Since we have knockback to our melee attacks during Lion’s Roar uptime everything is PULLED in closer. We can absolutely obliterate entire MAPS with a single click of Vaal Cyclone and our Cospri’s Critting cold spells clean up the rest. I’ve actually pulled Act bosses from 6 (Crabby dude) and 7 (Spider-female) when killing Kitava in act 5 with this combo.

Boots:



Omeyocan is BIS for us with our footware. Because we take full advantage of Blood Magic we don’t have to worry about “Losing 7% of our mana per second” we get a free 30% increased movement speed pair of boots with ZERO drawbacks WHATSOEVER.

Amulet:



The Ascetic allows us to magic find early game, as early as Act 1 with a level requirement of level 8. Slap this badboy on and you’ll never have to worry about “lack of currency” ever again. Buy your headhunter within 1 hour of starting a league.

Ring 1:



One of the ways we save money on the CHAD Zerker is by using Thief's Torment. We get increased Item Quantity, which STACKS with our Amulet the Ascetic, and it also saves us currency from having to purchase a SECOND ring. There is only ONE CHAD ZERKER, so there also should be only ONE ring.

Ring 2:

Belt:
You have three options here in the belt slot, each one with their own unique benefits and no drawbacks (Because there are NO drawbacks in the CHAD Zerker build).

You can go the STAT stacking method with Cyclopean Coil:



You can go for the INTIMIDATION factor with Belt of the Deceiver. This is especially powerful since with your Empire's Grasp/Reserve Knockback Lion’s Roar/Vaal Cyclone combo. Everything West of Innocence’ chamber will be pulled into the “Nearby” region of your character. I once had a friend log into the Sao Paulo gateway to confirm in a PVP duel that he was still “nearby” my character and was intimidated, despite the fact that I was playing via a remote desktop connection in Antarctica.



You can go for the ultimate ALPHA belt - Gluttony. You might be wondering if the mod “You have no Armour or maximum Energy Shield” is a drawback - but if you notice, we’re not scaling Energy Shield ANYWHERE on the tree. So tell me a better combo to take advantage of? What’s that? Do I hear the sound of Simon and Garfunkel singing bridge over troubled waters? NO - because that’s the SOUND OF SILENCE, there is no better combo to take advantage of.



Gear Set 2:

Weapons:
No weapon, we’re rolling playing this guy-



Helmet:



Obvious choice for ANY Physical stacking build. We body up monsters, tear down the tendons of bosses, and cause mass WEIGHT LOSS to every BreachLord due to the anxiety our build causes.


Body Armour:


Tabula-Rasa. See above, this is the single most important item in the build. Start the league 3-4 days late, and demand that a guild mate lends you one, otherwise you’ll be forced to unleash your psionic energy through a blast of gas from the past like Doc Brown blowing them BACK to the FUTURE. If you carefully watch all three of the Back to the Future movies simultaneously, you'll notice that Doc Brown says the exact same phrase in each movie at 54 minutes and 36 seconds.

Gloves:



This second gear set is all built around scaling physical damage and taking advantage of the Facebreaker. No, the name of the gloves is NOT a reference to Meryl Streep, the greatest Actress of this generation....



The gloves provide us with a MORE physical damage multiplier, which for those of you who are on the ‘Morty’ side of the intelligence spectrum, means: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Stat




These gloves officially unlock what Midwestern Americans call “Rootin-Tootin-Honkers-Bonkers” damage.

Boots:



March of the Legion provide an extra boost in levels for Aura skills like Herald of Purity, which provide a flat physical damage boost. Also, with the new “blessing” effect, this aura, and EVERY OTHER AURA on the build gains up to 11% increased effect during the blessing. That’s an unprecedented level of damage boost from your auras.

Amulet:



Carnage heart provides much needed sustain providing a bunch of leech based on our physical damage. When you calculate our average hit, factor in our cast rate, and crit multiplier, we’re healing for a MINIMUM of 1.6% Physical damage dealt. V A L U E city.

Ring 1:



You might look at this and wonder “why Gifts from Above?” - simple, Critical Strike Chance, Consecrated Ground generation (Without having to use a Concrete flask), and additional damage while on Consecrated ground. With the new changes to enemies taking Criticals on Consecrated ground, this ring quickly has become THE GO TO ring for all critical based builds. If you can get your hands on 1-2 I would grab them up as they are sure to be worth at LEAST 15-30 exalted soon.

Ring 2:



This is the only way to generate the skill “Tentacle whip” in the entire game, clearly setting this ring aside as the best in slot.

Belt:



Because this belt provides flat physical damage, it’s the best in slot for a physical stacking build. Giving global physical damage in combination with flat physical damage, this belt is like adding an extra steel ring into the build.

Flasks:

Some quick explanations here:



Lion’s Roar - already explained the combo with reverse knockback + Empire's Grasp. Even on the Facebreaker combo there is no single better physical damage flask.



Blood of Karui - Laughs in the face of any other attempt at HP regen in the game. Seriously, not even Righteous Fire builds have this kind of Regen. This flask is like having an additional build in a flask slot. What a joke.



Wise Oak - If Enemies have elemental resistances, they soon won’t. This works especially well with the Veil of the night helm as you will have perfectly balanced triple resistances.



Avatar of Fire essentially gives us a 4X multiplier when we hit this flask, believe me, you’ll definitely want this to be your first purchase after you unlock Avatar of Fire keynode.



Do you know what creating a smoke cloud does? I don’t, but it looks cool, and this flask is purple, so might as well throw it in there. Honestly, the build is so good it could function on 4 flasks to begin with.
