Update about Synthesis League Changes

All these changes might even make synthesis playable if it wasn't for the bullshit that is the decay mechanic ...oh and having a billion different synthesized item implicit outcomes.
ah, 2019 and kids still crying like it's 2013.

so glad i don't come to these forums anymore and just play the game. league is great. crazy that they would make you do something like choose between clearing as much as possible and finding the chests before you get memory'd. you can literally taste the salt in these posts. i can hear you yelling "what the ****!" after you don't get those chests you worked so hard towards.

but i want to go slow! me, me, me!!!! wahhh!!!

back in my day, we were glad to just have this game. bunch of entitled babies. most who haven't even bought a supporter pack, ha.

bet 99% of you are softcore playing hillary voters.

EIDT: wow, i thought i was seeing mostly people without packs. it's people who have spent a ton of money whining. this stuff is gold!

Boss Encounters
The Synthesis Boss Encounters now have the mods of the Memory that the portal to their areas was created from. This will in general make them more difficult, especially at higher levels.

Have you learned nothing from Delve?! Some bosses right now 1shot most tanky characters in the game. Mods applying to them on top of that will make it another Aul - which half of the time is unaproachable due to mods completely breaking the balance. If you feel bosses are not good enough (regular ones certainly aren't both in difficulty AND rewards) then buff them individually. You really need to stop doubling down on mistakes like this one...

Moving Memories
Players can now move Memories. At any point where you can place a Memory, you can now select another placed memory and move it and its global mods to this new location. This makes it easier to travel to various locations and means that players will run their memories until their final decay more frequently.

I find this to be a terrible solution then, very very bad.
It shows that they ust gave up on designing an interesting system because they could not find a better solution with the Nexus ....

If anything, it could be just tedious to moove existing memory fragments around memory modifiers to get the bonuses, and then move them back to somewhere else to use them ...
Just ... no ... don't do that ><
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
Berry good
memory decay that make fun stop. i love explore but not with decay on it.
Way to polish a turd.

You leave the convoluted crafting untouched. How am I not surprised. the 1% will keep at it, the rest of us will continue ignoring it. Awesome league GGG.

Not.

It's really bizarre that you have this sort of elitist commentary when you apparently haven't played any of 3.x (or the game for that matter). You have practically no challenges completed in any league (including ones of recent memory where you could complete the first challenge in Tidal Island), so what are you going on about?

In its current state, the league is terribly unintuitive and buggy. This announcement is an acknowledgment of these issues and a plan to fix it. If the majority of the playerbase is having similar issues, you can safely bet there will be changes made eventually.

Ok, I'm not exactly sure what to post so I will try to be positive. All the changes look very good...nicely done.

On the downside, and I appreciate GGG very much - but holy hell why not beta test this stuff and tell us what the heck is going on (with the league mechanics) so we don't have a couple of weeks of getting royally pissed off.

I just don't understand why they do this.
