If a unique is somewhat OP and just needs to be toned down a bit, it's done at the end of the league (or later) and doesnt affect pre-existing ones unless you use a Divine or Blessing orb on it (for its affixes or implicit repsectively).

If a unique (or even regular affix on rares) is deemed game breaking, it may be patched immediately (like this) and is retroactive, or at the end of the league if its simply too OP rather than game breaking. These ones are generally retroactive.

There's more leniency if it can reach standard league untouched, since almost nobody cares about standard but absolutely game breaking stuff is still nerfed there. Shavrones wrappings is an example of a unique that was a bit too strong when combined with other stuff, and got toned down a couple times but not retroactively.

That is a real problem while that watcher's eye thing doesn't matter at all. It's really sad but since a few expansions now ggg tends to only solve problems that no one cares about. Right now I'm pretty sure that they are simply unable to fix these major bugs because they always build new buggy shit on top of old already bugged shit instead of ever fixing anything important. Look, they were not even able to fix that "empty map stash tabs don't delete themself" thing for more than half a year now. They do not even respond to the billions of bug report or feedback threads anymore. Once ggg were the best in giving feedback (years ago) but now their communication with the community is even worse than blizzard's.

Thanks for the heads-up, but I hope there are other fixes for the issues in the works as well.

Are you planning to fix it: Shadows on/off , DirectX 9, 10 ,11 ... full screen no work. nobody answers posts, and there are many players with the same problems.
