PlayStation 4 Release Date: March 26th
" Totems, that have a targeting skill, like most, place on locked enemy, or at max range where you look at (might hit a tree). Rightous Fire totems are placed, depending on you analog movement stick. There is a ground cursor targeting if you press LT and push down the skill button and hold it. YOu can aim and then release. Ofc this is unusable in a fight, as LT locks you in position, but it works fine with spectres. They are as hard to target as on pc, but you can hover till it finally shows up the right name on the top. ( playing necro this leage with spectres only, atm I am 91.8, so its actually well playable) Edit: What is a bit clunky is that you always move at 100% its not actually taking the LS analog feature. So either you stand still or run full speed, there is no "walking" which can be really bad in lab where you need precise movements. Be it a floor puzzle or iterating spike traps. " Thanks for reply mate. Wow. Somehow I just less and less exited about PS4 version. Crashes, frame rate drops, bugs - I ran from all those things to console and not really looking forward to meet it all again. Well, i guess we should just wait and see what will come out of this... Well, it's not toally my intention to destroy the hype, its ofc also to shine some light on the xbox situation and maybe get some attention from ggg, for adressing this. I mean they are after money, so letting the people now to not spend all their money blindly on mtx, trusting in a ggg experience and commitment, they are used to from pc. Because those guys are not here.
Bex wrote her first thread last week, after 2 years. Also a ggg web developer showed up, saying something about the state of account linking to this website, so we could actually have supporter packs show on forum, or maybe export our character to path of building. So besides this 1 time post of chris in 2017, I think I have seen 4 different ggg employees communicating which is 98% Jeff. |

" I have searched all over the place to find an answer to the same question but cannot find anything :( |

Nice, will be possible to use the same account to play on ps4?

" It almost certainly will be, though that doesn't necessariy mean Europe will get the game on the same day as the US. GGG will need to make sure the releases are as close together as possible, because countries where the game hasn't been released officially will still be able to download and play the game by using a US PSN account to access the US store, and if people do that they may have difficulty or could find it impossible to buy MTX. " No. A PC account is tied to an email address. A PS4 account will be tied to a PS4 account. A PS4 account is ultimately tied to an email address, and you could in theory have a PSN account which uses the same email account you use to play PC PoE, but in any scenario they would still be two seperate PoE accounts: a PC account and a PS4 account. |

I've waited for the PS4 release, as the specs of my PC are too low to run PoE, but now, reading all those posts about Xbox problems, and seeing that the developers seem not to care about it at all, not replying to any of the concerns... I think I'll turn to other games instead.
It's good that I visited this forum, saved me the post-launch frustration. |

" You'd need to jump through hoops to get funding on the US PSN account. You couldn't simply buy a UK PSN voucher and enter the code on the US PSN, and you can't pay via UK credit/debit cards either. There are ways to fund PSN stores of other regions but they're more tricky and complex. In any case, a lot of people doing this (using the US download outside the US) will fall into the trap of wanting to keep all their trophies on one PSN account, so they end up playing the game while logged-in to their regular one. Doing that will work, but since the MTX won't exist on that PSN store if you try to buy it from within the game you'll just get an error message. Worse yet, if this game operates in a similar way to Tera (not sure whether it does or not), the US client may be hardcoded to connect to a US based server, while the EU client may be hardcoded to connect to a EU server. If that is the case with PoE, people playing versions downloaded from PSN stores other than their own could experience high amounts of lag and possible frequent disconnects. |

Just about a week out, any chance for that "more information and what to expect" I noticed that the Path of Exile game overview is no longer available on the playstation app....
