Syndicate Freezes, Stutters/Drops Frames Severely

Yeah, yesterday I tried an intervention after patch and it worked flawlessly , today the freeze is up again...GG no fix.
Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.
This is worse than ever after the patch. It lags, then freezes, the freezes up your whole computer and boots you off the server.

Please fix this!

welp don't know what happened, for me the syndicate lag went away for about 5 encounters, then got steadily worse and is now as bad as it was before...

have no choice but to alt f4 when i encounter them now wasting a map... rip

As of this time Syndicate is not a major issue since I cannot even get into the game without an error of "your authentication for instance transfer was invalid".

General Issue is just 12k+ ms when on intervention, or instant crash loading into Laboratory.
Still freezing, still getting me killed.
This isn't getting fixed. I bet the devs have 0 idea how to fix this 2 weeks into the league and refuse to remove it.
Mmmm... Seems like that --noasync -gc 2 have almost fixed the problem for me. I went throught two interventions (first one with a single syndicate member, second with two) and, despite some persistent stutter at the time of appear, I was able to react and kill them, and even complete the rest of the jobs (even though not so laggy, I was having a lot of problems with them too, specially research).

Since other users have said that during some random interventions they also have been lag-free, I hold back from declare some sort of victory. But maybe I will continue experimenting with downloading the standalone version and do the ggpk defagmenter think (or that doesn't have sense since it will be a fresh install?), and see if that plus these two parameters do some more magic.

PS. For what I have seen, it feels like a 99% certainty that the major problem is with loading the skills assets of the syndicate members, and not so much with mob density or something else.

so fkn frustrating dying again and again every time they appear
to get that 10% xp which i loose every time they appear, takes me 45-60 min mapping.

Yea. Seems like every time they use a new skill you get extra freezes.
Also wanted to bump this as this should be No. 1 priority w/devs now. Makes it impossible to level up and enjoy the game. You are only safe in maps w/other masters, the mine, lab, nexus.

You cannot safely do maps.


edited to ask: does --noasync and --nopreload work on steam version?


Edited again to add: can report I just ran map w/Jun and had intervention. On Steam the --nopreload DOES work. I advise you to try it. Even if you aren't using Steam.
