I kept wonder where I've seen PoE's passive skill tree

It really doesn't matter as this is the first time it was implemented in an ARPG instead of the linear and multiple isolated trees.

I can see the resemblance and does this really devalue PoE? It really doesn't matter to me.

I don't think anyone was saying it's a problem :)
At first it's very overwhelming for new players but am sure it will become easy to understand with more time spent with the game.
Path of Exile is an amazingly fun game to play!
that was one thing i noticed on the first day of the stress test as well, i told all the people in the global chat and no one seemed to care lol.

diablo 2 was more advanced and good than FFX. i won't make ARPG with FFX system never. i would make it more easy and convenient than FFX if i used FFX skill tree. but i respect blizzard north diablo 2 team than FFX shit.
Why do you dig up threads that are almost a year old...

Btw. If you farm enough in FFX you can destroy all existing nodes on the grid and built it from scratch to your liking and with better nodes.

But that was for 'endgame' and took a while.
