Thanks you for healing my wrist pain with the new Auto-Pickup filter action !
" It's worth noting that something like what you're suggesting does exist in the Chinese version of the game. They have a currency pouch - it starts out as a very limited vertical strip of extra inventory spaces to the left of the main inventory, and it can be expanded outwards to the left (via MTX) by purchasing additional columns. Presumably only currency can go into those spaces. I'm not sure whether currency you pick-up is prioritized to go into that pouch or into the regular inventory (where you'd have to move it manually) but the important thing is that the basic feature exists, and could easily be adjusted and tweaked to work with something like a currency auto-pickup feature. " Already did and there's no magic solution. The intense clicking torture has to stop. |

My arm's busted as well, flared up real bad about a month ago and has only gone downhill since then. Now I can handle an hour, two if I push it, of intense activity like gaming before I have to take a break.
Going to be an interesting league, this one. |

" Too much intensive clicking of a mouse can lead to serious conditions, or inflame existing conditions. If you're experiencing carpal tunnel syndrome, or repetitive strain injury, or maybe agitating arthritis in the wrist, the only real solution is to take a good long break and allow your wrist to recover before returning to the game. Once a condition like those flares up, continuing to perform the same motions will just prolong the healing process even if you reduce the intensity of that action, if you are still performing that action while you're already injured. If GGG did give us an auto-pickup feature, it wouldn't help you as much as you'd think, since you'd still be clicking regularly and often enough to cause or worsen those sort of problems, even if it's only to move your character around. The best advice I can give you here is to take a nice long break to allow your wrist to recover, and then try to keep your play-sessions short otherwise you'll inevitably find the problem reoccurring with increasing severity and frequency. if you got Wrist pain :
1 - got a vertical/ergonomic mouse (in a week you will be as good as a normal mouse for precision, just need pratice) 2 - use a mousepad with the moss border that relief the arm 3 do some hand and shoulder relaxation 1-2min every hours (there is some youtube hand streching and stuff about it, look for "canal carpien". 4 stop freaking play for 8hours without a break. I do 8hours of insane vectorial/3d work clicking and +5-6h of gaming everyday too, since more than 10years, those are the solutions if you wanna keep putting pressure on your hands. ( or you gonna have some hand surgy later and that's not something that fix the problem forever...) Also another pretty usefull solution to halve the PoE clicking (i did this since 2 years its pretty effective), bind the movement input to SPACE, and just let your thumb on space while picking the direction whith the mouse cursor, way less clicks. (shoulder relaxation and ergonomic mouse resolved 75% of my pain alone, i had real trouble to work at some point^^) Last edited by Bakudan#2344 on Mar 7, 2019, 6:56:15 PM

It's amazing how some think that they have to play PoE, they cannot stop, and anything wrong comes from the game and never from themselves.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
