Yes, the Einaudi is good stuff.
This next one's a big one. Undoubtedly magnificent. Beautiful. Been listening to this piece for a long time, decades, had it on vinyl, it only gets better. This is a lovely recording, too. Not one for the every day, but sometimes it just hits the spot. People pick out Dies irae or lachrymosa but no. The whole thing or nothing. Mozart, requiem in d minor, k 626 That it is unfinished because Mozart died only makes it more astonishing. Makes Marilyn Manson (erudite and oh so as he is) look kinda one note by comparison. Unfair of me, true. But then who could live on this music alone? Not me. Variety, as they say, in music, yes. Last edited by erdelyii#5604 on Mar 5, 2019, 4:09:56 AM

I liked Through and Through, Shovelcut. The singer is a fiend.
" Edgiest performance I've seen in a long time. Since they were still behind the Iron Curtain, even if things had thawed dramatically by then, makes it even cooler. You mentioned that the Bedouin Flight of Birds song was beautiful. The other night YouTube hit a vein of similar tunes. I don't know what style you'd call it, seems to be in a 120-130 bpm zone which is nice, a chill but still energised and flowing energy to it. Worakls - Salzburg Paji - The Old Gods And something slow, Beethoven | Piano Sonata No. 17 in D minor, "The Tempest" | Daniel Barenboim |

" Then you might like their version of a classic: St. James Infirmary. :) Also Witches' Wrath. I'm in love with her voice. It's sooo good! Edit: She kinda reminds me of Gin Wigmore, the kiwi that has a song about sheep. lul Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you. Last edited by Shovelcut#3450 on Mar 8, 2019, 5:29:10 AM

I liked both - a lot.
She's got Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent, to borrow from the lady who knows, RuPaul. Gin Wigmore is pretty good, and I see the connection but not quite there for me. |

Here is some neoclassical:
