Low minion damage
Any mechanic to raise minion damage I missed?
GGG should buff minions build, why a squad army is not better than 1 man build is not realistic at all. They shouldn't focused on nerfing melee damage only. This is the PoB : https://pastebin.com/1p2mymHN |

Minion damage is fine for the most part. You can easily hit a wall with minion damage, which is still enough to do all content, but you'll never reach 50m+ dps like other builds. The only problem right now is the lack of powerful endgame item mods affecting minions.

damage could use some assistance but its really not a huge problem. generally i think a bigger improvement would be redoing some of the ai. minions have a bad habit of being REAL stupid when you need them to be doing things. HOwever AI is complicated so i see why its not a priority

OP, you generally missing the point.
Minion builds are good for lvling and white-and some yellow maps, usually. Only few minion builds can go higher. |

It's doing find even against tier 16 and shaper is easy enough, but yeah a bit unbalanced prob a bit hard for uber elder long fight.
I was thinking if there is critical flaw i missed in my summoner build probably. |

Actually, all minions are viable in builds that can do enough end-game dps both clearing and vs bosses to be above average. I used a very generic minion build that used mage skeletons, zombies, spectres, and no offensive auras. I also didn't use much/any minion jewels with flat damage on them. I did 100% of all content except perandus manor because it's expensive (yes, including hall of grandmasters) and I was able to defeat red tier syndicate encounters a fair bit of the time as well as uber elder and mastermind.
Quick notes for beginners on minion builds: Get a high minion increased damage (70%+) on your weapon if u don't need a unique one. Get all minion gems except spectres to level 21 eventually. Use Empower level 3 at minimum on all minions except spectres. Use offensive auras if you have extra mana to reserve and Animate Guardian if you don't. Realize that each minion specializes in one thing and it is sometimes better to get multiple types of minions than to try to make one minion do everything. Each minion that you want to do damage at an absolute minimum needs 4 supports which can include "supported by" gear pieces. If you are running Zombies that you want to not die often or Animate Guardian you need basically 100% of minion life nodes on tree and the more life support gem. Minions have accuracy and it isn't perfect (or even decent at red tier maps). You will need to either invest in all minion accuracy nodes on the tree and try to give them additional flat accuracy from gear, use ascendancy nodes, or spell casting minions (no accuracy needed). This includes stacking zombie slam jewels and ascendancy until the zombies only use this skill instead of auto attacking. TLDR: Any minion gem can be in a build that is as strong as most other builds currently, the only 2 weaknesses of a minion build are AI and usually being gem-slot starved, with the latter gradually getting better with new "supported by" mods. |

Minion damage is fine? You can easily get 120k per zombie when using a conc effect minion dam hat. And you have like what? 11 zombies? Thats 1,3mil for your hat alone. Skeletons easily hit +100k per skellie on a 5 link. Spectres ive never really used nor do i know how their damage fares, but they always come ontop of zombies and skellies anyways.
Golems were super strong when i used them a while back, and they haven't gotten weaker. Dom blow? seems alright. Probably the lowest dam of them all. SRS. We are not talking about SRS. SRS is sort of bluh and not worth mentioning. But yes, you will hit a wall in terms of damage. But that wall is like 3 million dps with barely any gear investment at all. Bringing any other build past a summoner takes a lot of currency. |

@hank_maccoy that jewels would be nice on golem user @DemigodParadox What i get to boost more damage is this I need to change helm with 6 link and gem lv mod, to change the sword for a 1 hand rare weapon and shield. The downside is less minions move speed, the trade is quite good. Another support gem give utility and dps about the same as empower lv 4 prob not a good choice. About accuracy summon skeleton hits can't be missed if we take the ascendancy and spectres used mostly for spells. |

" Minions scale with levels non-linearly. The higher their level the more effect adding levels to them has. Also, Empower drastically increases minion health in addition to damage and less time re-summoning minions is more time doing damage. This is why +3 minion helms are so good. |
