Let's Talk About Favor

I totally agree about the main subject here. Very good exposé!

I did the mistake of spending my whole favor for random decoration, and when I started finding these awesome hideouts people make (https://hideoutshowcase.com/ for example), I realized I f-ed up badly...

Please tackle this problem as soon as possible, GGG!

Maybe something is already planned for 3.6.0, that'd be great.
3.6 : Huge disappointment, it's gonna be even harder with the increased rarity of scarabs who are by far the most efficient way to farm favour.

I thought I may have been wrong about judging favour gain so early. I thought that maybe that was because I wanted everything *now* and later in the leagues I'd gradually gain more favour by doing dailies and mapping, while not paying attention to hideouts. Now I feel I was wrong about being wrong. I have made one miserable hideout since the 3.5.0 patch and my 90mil favour points I gathered in all leagues since Forsaken Masters introduction have melted to 14mil (I wanted to see how each decoration looked like + bought more of a kind, but didn't like them, so they were 'wasted'). I played a lot and still play a lot, but instead of gaining favour I have less and less of it. Current favour values are good for making hideouts with utilising what you have rather than what you want. Please let us have more fun in the future. :)

actually it would most likely result in more money for them to fix this and increase the item cap per hideout - atleast for the more massive layouts.

people would actually buy more decorations with different fitting themes , along with hideouts from support packs right?

I think they just didn't address the issue internally with a follow up of their new system once the changeover was done. They did the hardest part : making an import/export system with a new hideout interface and a substantial increase of new hideouts but the less technically demanding part, the balancing, was completely sidelined from what i see. It'd require very little time to tweak some numbers (favour gain/costs) as the systems are already in place.

I want to add my voice to this post. Farming favour is currently way, way too difficult and slow. I like that I have to engage with the game systems in order to "earn" a nice hideout, but right now it's tuned way too far. Please address this GGG. This is not a mobile game (yet).
