Elder spreading with lack of Shaper maps
I have built up some red maps now, and am yet to get the memory fragment from a T13 map, so as to increase Zana's map quantity, and ofc progress her quest. My Elder blob is "sort of" close, but there is virtually no Shaper maps on my Atlas, so right now it's impossible to spread Elder influence by helping it along myself. There are only 2 Shaper maps nearby, plus 2 other lone one elsewhere on the Atlas.
Will this somehow fix itself eventually so Elder will creep towards the center (either by itself or by me doing Shaper maps there), or am I kinda boned? It's been like this for a very long time. I recently did Leyline because it was Shaper influenced, but now everything is gone. Last bumped on Jan 31, 2019, 6:32:39 PM

Do the Museum and Precinct maps, both are shaper-influenced maps connected tp your elder blob... not in the direction you'd want, but you will get movement and new shaper-influenced maps should appear, maybe this time on the right side of things and it's still a long way to 20. Good luck. ;)

The more Elder influence there is on your atlas the more likely it is to be surrounded by Shaper influence. It will fix itself over time. Alternatively you can just do the low Shaper maps, do the higher Shaper maps when they appear and then do the lower Elder maps to get rid of Elder influence you don't want.

spawn elder in the yellow maps then kill it. From there stay in the red maps and when the next elder blob spawns it'll be in the red area. Watch out for shaped maps in yellow areas when there is no blob as that can get you elder in the yellow maps again.

Thanks for the advice. Did manage to get it spread to T13 Core, so got the memory fragment, but now Elder has buggered off again. Suppose the best bet is to get him to spawn and kill him, and then hope the next starting point will be in red maps if I just keep playing them - like mentioned above.
Can't find an overview of the requirements for Zana. How do I get her up to 7-8% quantity, and when can I get the last options in the map device? There is supposed to be Abyss for instance, which I don't have. Despite fighting probably 50+ Abysses, I'm yet to find a Lich. Either I'm unlucky, or the chance is really, really low. |

Who would've though wiki has info on that

" ..exaggerating :D |

" Unless I'm blind, there is no information there about what I asked about. I've looked high and low for it, but can't find it. Last league it was actually in the patch notes, but not this time. They mention the different mods, but not what is required to unlock them. |

" Not really. Don't know if it's 50 or more, but I reckon it must be in the ballpark. I've done every Abyss I've come across, and it's a lot. From story to maps, and I've pretty much filled out the whole Atlas now, and of course played a LOT more maps than 150-ish. Hence the comment about either being unlucky or the chance being very low. In any case, I hope a Lich appears at some point, and that I'll get the mod for paying for it to help out. |

To level up Zana, complete maps in your Atlas:
Complete 4 maps for level 2. Complete 10 maps for level 3. Complete 25 maps for level 4. Complete 50 maps for level 5. Complete 80 maps for level 6. Complete 120 maps for level 7. This does NOT require you to get the bonus objective for the maps. And from the same wiki : Abyssal Liches can only be encountered in Tier 3 maps or higher. |
