Thank you for reply. I don't really understand your chart. According to what I saw, you first convert 70-75% physical damage to lightning damage (50% from Physical to lightning support and 20-25% from glove). Then 80% of lightning damage is converted to cold damage (2 CoBs). And fire damage from HoA and Cold to Fire gem. The only source that chaos damage come from, as I see, is in 2 weapons (and also from Harness of the void).
So end up, the chaos damage here only equal to other elemental damage.


Because the chart is still out-dated, I am updating now!


Chaos damage is come from stacking modifier "added extra chaos" and also through applying multiple damage conversions. They have bizarre interaction.

This Chart showing how conversion synergizes with those mods, be especially attentive to 65% and 99%, those red-bordered boxes will be retained after conversion.


The number(%) on this chart is based on % of Physical damage.
For example,
In line 2, 170% means 170% of 100% physical damage, which equal to 1.70 or 170%
among them,
75% of physical is converted to light in the form of "Converted to" by
Glove(25%)
& gem (50%)
, and
95% of Phys is converted to light in the form of "Added as" by
Watcheye(25%),
Gem(30%) &
Weapon<1,2>(40%)

so, a total of 170% of physical damage converted to lightning as shown in the chart.

*Damage conversion has two types 1. "Added as" 2. "Converted to",
the difference between the two is that "Converted to" replaces the original damage with new type while "Added as" preserves the original base damage and adds the converted to the total


➡️In Line 3,

0.25=25% //The remaining Phys

0.34=34%=170%*(1-0.8) //CoB only covert 80% of Light to Cold, so 20% left

0.25=25%=HoT //25% Phys convert to Cold in the form of "Added as"

1.7*80% //CoB 80% light to cold In the form "Converted to"

1.61=1.7*0.8+0.25 //The sum of Cold damage

➡️In Line 4,

0.25=25% //The remaining Phys

0.34=34% // The remaining Light

1.61%*50% // The remaning Cold

0.15%=15% // HoA

1.61%*79% // Gem: Cold to Fire, 50% Cold to fire in the form of "Converted to" and 29% is "Added as"

1.42=1.61*79%+0.15 // The sum of Fire damage

➡️Yes, it's hard and would cost more now. I guess 2 mod is possible (maybe within 10ex) to get but not at the first week of league start.
By now, I think the way to craft weapon are;-
1. ALT + regal - hard

2. Roll until you see T1 "% of Elemental Damage as Extra Chaos Damage", then use Bestiary Recipe - Create an Imprint, regal it to see if "Phys add light" appear, if fail, use imprint and repeat this loop until you get 2 mod.

3. On Budget method - just give up "Phys add light" at this stage, replace it with something like "Phys add cold" or "Light add chaos" etc, the overall damage would drop around 5-15%.

4. Chaos spamming until 2 mod appear, craft "Prefix cannot be changed", source it,
then use the orb of Annulment to eliminate useless prefix (1/3 chance).

This two Bestiary recipe is also helpful while crafting
➡️Add a Suffix, Remove a Random Prefix
➡️Add a Prefix, Remove a Random Suffix

In your case, I wouldn't.
Prefixes cannot be changed is 2ex, only worth if hit 2 T1 "Element add chaos" & T1 "Phys add light"

and "Phys as chaos" is a non-exist mod.

Hi ,this build is sick , but i want to ask if it's possible to change weapons to
40% elemental sceptres ,and loreweave to "the eternity shroud" ? It might add tons of damage to build.

for dummies how much of a difference is
extra lightning damage while wrath
vs
critical strike chance while wrath

I am lacking some crit multipliers already which i guess i will never achieve since 4 stats juwels are pretty damn expensive :/

is it still a no brainer to get that crit chance ?
How are you able to run both Vaal Blade Vortex and Blade Vortex at the same time?
