When we buy stuff from GGG what percentage of our purchase goes to 10 cent? This is a serious question since I no longer see the need to support Grinding Gear Games if you guys sold most of the company to a huge business. I mean, c'mon, Tencent is the world's largest gaming company, one of the world's most valuable technology conglomerates, one of the world's largest social media companies, and one of the world's largest venture capital firms and investment corporations. They do not need my support.

Some updated transparency would be a wise move.

Never mind, found it myself: in May 2018 Tencent acquired a majority stake in the New Zealand company Grinding Gear Games. What does a majority stake mean? More than 50% I would presume. To me, it sounds like for every dollar I spend on PoE 90 cents goes to Tencent.

as with all subs in capitalism, ggg pays their expenses and what's over goes to china and the other shareholders. tencent may reinvest like they do with the jobs they currently offer (if they're additional).

it certainly gives ggg more financial safety in times when idiots call to boycott them cause they maybe overdid the experimentational part of a league. times where they've likely been back to the wall financially and forced to kill their own game with power creep to satify the unholy breed they amassed on reddit which are unable to distinguish a offtopic vote button from a popularity vote button.
