Path of Exile Hideout Competition

Okay, I've never done this before, but oh well.
The hideout is called Kaom's Mine Hideout and is based on the Excavated Hideout tileset.

Brittleknee's Hideout Submission - The Watchtower

A single Screenshot does this no justice! Please Watch the Video and look at the full album!

Just want to see the screenshots and move on? Here you go.

Entryway, with the waypoint located on the lift itself. These screenshots were made before the final video edit which includes the placement of a few extra trees, but otherwise it is indistinguishable. I actually hit decoration cap on this hideout, which is 762 placed items.

The long-abandoned watchtower has new life and provides a cozy shelter from the raging snowstorm.

All player conveniences are within a short distance for optimal mapping.

Twin fireplaces crank up the cozy factor to 11.

Across the bridge is the crossroads to all the other areas in the ruins. The once-paved road barely visible in the snow.

The entrance to Einhar's sanctum, where Einhar does Einhar business.

Einhar's home and supplies, along with a cozy campfire where Einhar reflects on great hunts.

Has Einhar possibly found some Dragon Eggs?

Einhar's tiger. Einhar loooooooves tigers.

Einhar's Raptors, captured from the wastelands. They are best friends with both each other and Einhar!

The steps to Alva's Tower.

Alva's been farming those T3 Wealth of the Vaal rooms.

Among the treasures lies the skulls of hundreds of vanquished Architects.

Navali's hut and toxic garden where she produces potions and elixirs that strengthen her sight.

Probably not safe for a dinner table.

Zana occupies the last ruined structure, which may have been a place of worship at some point.

A cozy reading nook at the base of the long-forgotten shrine.

Zana peers into the fireplace, lost in thought. Behind her, her desk and investigation into her father.

Niko's hovel provides a quaint, fur lined tent to rest among the busy operations of the azurite mine.

A close up of the mining equipment, which helps Niko load sulphite or unload azurite.

Thanks a lot for looking, and thank you for consideration!

Here's my entry.

Theme: A Journey.

The main theme for this hideout is it takes you through a journey from the central camp into the jungle and through the rotting forest where you find the ancient villa with a familiar face. I decided to make it a linear path in order to have the transitions of locations and sense of exploration as you go deeper into the hideout.

Theme : Ill-Gotten Gains

After finding a method of creating portals to other areas the Masters and the Exile proceeded to pillage the wealth and treasures of the other realms and use the nearby emporium of "Leon's Rare Books and Antiquities" as a front to move their Ill-Gotten Gains.
A small trading post and mine encampment soon built up around the store to support the many weary travelers seeking out the store.

The local tavern serves as the way-point and the starting place for many great adventures (just not for poor Gerald who has had one too many)

The courtyard to "Leon's Rare Books and Antiquities" allows travelers to rest their weary feet before browsing the wares.

"Leon's Rare Books and Antiquities" home to many a strange oddity from many different places. The storeroom out the back is frequently being restocked.

The area behind the trading post has a small smithy and mine to help supply the more mundane supplies needed by the township and passersby.

The staging area for the Exiles expeditions keep a steady flow of new goods coming to supply the ever growing demand.

----
Hope you enjoy it.
