Is the added cold damage a good mod for the weapon? Or should I take my chances annuling it and then multimodding an extra affix. Also what mods am I looking to craft with multimod? (Ignore the rest of my gear, this weapon is for a friend)

it doesnt affect spells, only attack hits

aren't attack hits specifically stated with "adds x damage to attacks"?

He's not correct, generic added damage affects both attacks and spells.

"X to X Cold Damage" affects both Spells and Attacks
"X to X Cold Damage to attacks" affects attacks
"X to X Cold Damage to spells" affects spells

The cold damage you have is really bad for this build as by having +cold damage to spells those lightning gems are doing both lightning and cold damage therefore Elemental Equilibrium is granting the monster +25% resists to cold instead of reducing it by 50%. That's a 75% difference in total.

To give you an idea just how big a difference that is imagine how much damage you took having 0% resist instead of 75% then you get the idea how much damage you're losing.

You either need to annul and hope, buy yourself a different weapon or respec out of EE until you can replace your weapon as you are really gimping yourself currently.

I dont see any "Gain #% of damage as chaos damage" mod in any of OP gear. Does it not work on dots? Is that a useless mod for this build?

Gonna bumb this becouse im crafting Mace/Shield and really need to know if i should craft "Gain % chaos damage" or other mods on those.

Another thing i noticed on OP's POB is that he ticks the "Crit Chance is lucky" square, but i dont see he using a diamond flask...Am im missing something? Otherwise i probably should get spell critical strike chance on shield as well to make sure elemental overload get a good uptime...

Could anyone help me with those questions?

You shouldn't craft "Gain % chaos damage" on your gear with this build, whilst it would add chaos damage to initial hit of vortex it doesn't apply to the DOT which is where the majority of our damage comes from since Damage over time effects always consist of exactly one damage type.

Our DOT also doesn't Crit so you shouldn't get that on gear, only our initial hit when we cast crits and so the base % we have is enough to proc elemental overload.

Im having some mana issues? Is this common or normal? Can anyone take a look at mygear and tree and maybe advise me to what I could do? I have a few exalts i could use to upgrade things.

I just started playing after a long break and was leveling with Clarity and Heralds and never had mana issues. I finally hit maps and put the proper skill gems in and took off clarity. If felt terrible. I couldn't cast when I wanted to and I was probably a bit too spammy with skills.

So a few things you can do.
* For easier content, use Clarity. Not sure what maps you are on, but for white maps, I don't need enfeeble/blasphemy.
* You need to get Shaper node. 40% mana regen.
* There are a couple other nodes that provide 20% mana regen. It's mentioned in the guide.
* You can get mana regen on gear/jewels
* Someone suggested mana gain on kill gear. I tried it on one ring (+3) but it didn't really help. Maybe +6 would feel better.
* Don't spam your skills. Though when you are clearing easy content, it's hard not to.
* And don't forget to use Flame Dash to trigger arcane surge. 0.6% regen.
* And buy a level 3 Enlighten to reduce your reserve. But that doesn't help with regen.

Basically this, enlighten you have is level 1 and does nothing for you until you get it to level 2 but you really want a level 3 or 4.

Also, there is a 4% mana reservation node for 1 point right near the Chaos Inoculation node that really helps and the Deep Thoughts node above the witch starting area for 2 points that gives 20% max mana, 20% mana regen and 20 int.
Thanks for this build, it is very fun to play !
Great defenses, high energy shield and a curse, plus vortex allow a lot of freedom of movement.
Killed my first Uber Elder, so yeah, pretty nice !

As for mana regen, I've droped Enlighten for Clarity, while not using aspect of the spider yet, and it has solved all of my mana issues
If anyone has 200 ex to spare, there is a guy selling a 900+ ES body with +21 strength and aspect of spider. I'd grab it if I only had another 199 ex to spare, lol.

That is very, very wrong on weapons. On a weapon, "adds 1 to 4 cold damage" is a local affix that only affects attacks with that weapon. Note than wands and sceptres have both "add ___ elemental damage", and "add ___ elemental damage to spells".

PoE is not intuitive on this, but "add ___ damage" on weapons is attack, not spells. So it does nothing positive or negative, unless you shield charge or leap slam for EE.

ReSv3's weapon is fine until he wants to drop several ex on an upgrade.
Got Aspect of Spider on a Weapon but it eats up my mana. Should I drop Enfeeble?
To the creator of this build, thank you for sharing such an amazing setup.

It has allowed a casual like me to clear the entire game content for the first time since I started playing, including uberelder and uberatz.

This build shines in every aspect, be it MF (I am absolutely melting t15 on 60% raw IIQ), bossing, delving or lab runs.

Highly recommend this build to new and seasoned players alike.
+1

Thank you so much for this AMAZING build.

First shaper kill followed a few hours later with a first UberElder kill...

Dammage is really great. Survivability is crazy.

The best build I have played...

For mana issuses do we rly need Orb of storm ? If not we can link mana leech to storm brand or orb of storm it helps a lot :)
