[3.5] Occultist Vortex/Cold Snap ES/CI - Deathless and Safe Uber Elder and T16's



For the moment i can't upgrade it anymore.

I have malevolance + aspect of the spider + discipline, the helmet is laking ES but giuves a great dmg boost.

Im near 1.4M shaper dps, ca be better with spell dmg on shield, better scepter, but realy too expensive. Farming shaper and guardians super easily, 11K ES is realy enough , i didn't die the last 20h of farming.

Not the fastest mapper but its a realy relaxing build to play, super safe and prety strong !

The helmet lab enchant "Vortex has 30% increased cooldown recovery" helps a lot with mapping if you ever have the chance to get it.
How the **** do you get 3 red, 1 green on ES gear .___.

Yes they are not super hard, but with this build it's just ridiculous ^^
I got my hands on a clarity (% of mana to max ES) and malevolence (cold dmg over time) watchers eye!

Now, with low life sitting on 12k ES. I also crafted a helmet with 100 more ES than my current, but it's only a 200 ES (total) upgrade as my old helmet has a good INT roll... and also has no enchant.. so I think I'll stick to my current one :)



So this is pretty much the final form for me this league.

For mapping solstice is pretty much bis for me and for really hard bosses(deep delve) i switch to an aul amulet with malevolance and ditch the temporal chains for a hatred that allows me to use witchfire as well.

Despite all the complains about this league, i had fun mostly because i enjoy crafting.The league challenge wings are really worth it as well.

I can see how the really bad initial implementation along with sneaky map tweaks(for a ''transparent company'' they sure like to hide a lot of stuff every start of the league) can turn people off.Realistically the nexus becomes boring real fast after you've done all the bosses a couple of times and messed around with the tiles and memory mods for a bit.
The only really depth this league has is the crafting system but it's a chore and requires outside information to understand it which is really bad.

In the end the core game is still solid mostly because of delve but the flow of the game get's disrupted by all those accumulated league mechanics.

Thank you for the pob and sharing your build. Quick question, in the config you've got "-75 enemy cold resistance" applied. Where is this coming from?

Here's what I'm thinking for my lvl92 tree:

That's from elemental equilibrium since in pob it's a dps loss due to bosses getting +25 to cold resists so i offset that by subtracting 25+50.
Just noticed that pob has an ee option tick as well.It doesn't really matter which way you go about it.

The tree looks good for a start.Honestly you don't need much to get this build going.I was doing uber elder at the start of the league in a tabula with 7k es pool. Being able to cast vortex while moving makes this build such an easy bosser.
