Thats a very nice belt! Definitely worth crafting on :) The Fenumus beast isn't too expensive anyway (50c from the looks of it).

Made this and flipped out on the double t1's. Will be transitioning to vortex tomorrow.

Hi Guys!

I've messed around with a number of the occultist cold dot builds on forums and I gotta say this one hits all the right notes. I've invested some time and effort now to put this build together and I am able to clear pretty much everything in the game comfortably.

I am looking to improve my DPS however...and am farming currency for the clarity discipline watchers eye...I would appreciate any tips from some knowledgeable folks on how I can improve. I have about 2 ex budget left now.

Ended up with a different amulet but a little update.

Killed shaper at 81 and uber elder at 84. Both with 1 death.

Build is truly amazing.

Would a Watcher's Eye with + ES gained for each enemy hit while affected by discipline be better than the +ES from Clarity? Just dropped one (with an added bonus of + chance to block spells w/ discipline). I'm not sure how much storm brand/OoS are hitting to actually make it worth it. Thoughts?

I think the next piece of gear you can look to upgrade upon would be your sceptre.

Your current sceptre gives +flat cold damage to spells which is actually buffing your enemies by giving them cold res (with elemental equilibrium). I would suggest respeccing out of EE until you change your sceptre.

My storm brand's cast time is approximately 0.39/s without Arcane Surge activated and with no %increased cast speed on gear, so I suspect that you will be able to go below that with Arcane Surge activated.

That equates to approx. 2.5 casts of Storm Brand per second. Given that you will usually end up with at least 2 instances of Storm Brand at all times, that equates to about 5 casts of Storm Brand per second which can grant you 150 ES gained per second if you have the max roll of ES on hit on Watcher's Eye.

I think that's a nice bonus to have but is not exactly game-changing given that your ES regen would already be at >500/s and ES recovery at a substantially higher amount.

I reckon the ES bonus with Clarity would be more significant as it would also improve your ES regen on top of granting a larger damage buffer.

Thank you for the build. Downed uber Elder first time and first try tonight. It was actually a easy one. Died once because i misslicked and double dashed into the exploding nova from elder.
