" I think you can do that just by casting a Cold Snap Before spawning the next wave and a vortex after you do |

This is probably a stupid question but, how would you change the starting skill points? Is that just doable?
|
|
" just unspec some skill points, skill the other starting point path, and then unspecc the starting path you dont need, put those points into skill you unspecced. if you nerf 10 gems out of 30, you automatically buff the other 20!

Hi :-)
really like the build. Hard to die and besides those little tiny freeze bugs I face sometimes on strongboxes, I really feel confident on maps until now, no matter which tier (havent tried any guardians, etc. only lvl 81). But can someone please explain which aura to keep with Aspect of the Spider? I am confused about that. I dont like missing discipline, but it is the only way for me to have enough mana to cast vortex/cold snap while having aspect of the spider active (on body, not gloves). Sitting at 10.5k ES with aspect, clarity and malevolence. Sitting at 11.4k ES with clarity, malevolence and discipline. Tooltip dps is about 140k self buffed for vortex. I am currently using Frost Bomb in a "trigger socket spell" on main hand while having Storm Brand in Cwdt setup in boots. Would it be better to use both, storm brand and frost bomb, in weapon? Is Aspect of the spider on gloves better, while linked to enlighten then? Just could not figure it out. Maybe I am to dump for PoB. Feedback would be nice. if you nerf 10 gems out of 30, you automatically buff the other 20!

" The Aspect on your body armour also uses the multiplier from Swift Affliction and Efficacy, making you reserve 35% of your mana, definitely move the Aspect to somewhere, where the gems don't increase it's mana reservation, you can check that out in your PoB. Also, you need to take the Reduced Mana Reservation node near CI, that gives you another 4% reduced mana reserved. You also need to gain some levels for more total Mana, that way Clarity will reserve less of the overall mana. If needed, lower the level of Clarity so that you can still cast your spells. At level 93, I have 136 free mana for example, but try to find the amount that you're comfortable with. Personally, with the Aspect, I'd consider the "Discipline/Malevolence has reduced mana reservation" helmet enchantments pretty much mandatory, but that's up to everyone. " Personally, I'd put the storm brand in the weapon since it's purpose is to activate Elemental Overload. With Cwdt, if you don't take damage then it won't mostly be up. With trigger, it's pretty much 100% up. " Enlighten doesn't lower Aspect's mana reservation, since it only influences skill gems, not skills. Just put the Aspect somewhere where other gems don't increase its cost. Last edited by Danel1#7197 on Apr 20, 2019, 5:32:31 AM

I really like this build, I'm really happy!
I have a question: Is it worth changing the Malevolence to Aspect of the Spider + Frostbite (with Blasphemy)? I saw this in your build that killed the Uber Elder, but is this good for any situation? If you think so, I'll buy the Aspect of the Spider craft. Thank you! |

" I can't speak for OP, but I can give my personal view on the matter. Based on my PoB, Malevolence alone gives me over 12% more damage than Aspect + Frostbite aura, however I also have the Malevolence cold DoT multiplier Watcher's Eye. Without it, I get about 2% more damage with just Malevolence. You'll need to try out your own PoB, but I'm guessing it should be something similar. Don't forget that Frostbite has reduced effect on rare and unique bosses, the ones where you'll want the most damage. Personally I'd go with Malevolence and I'd look into a Watcher's Eye with the Malevolence cold DoT multiplier, it's more damage. BTW, if you drop the Phase Run or drop it to a lower level, you can free up at least one +30 dex point on the tree. |

" No. I was using AotS + Frostbite because I played this build in Betrayal League and it hadn't Malevolence yet. Thanks to Daniel1 for the answer btw Last edited by Durnz#6488 on Apr 23, 2019, 10:00:57 AM
