Running the modifications mentionned above, here are the gains. With your POB settings, not touching anything but a few nodes and replacing Ancestral Call by Point Blank Gem.

Also, we can get mind drinker node for 3 points and still get better simmed results.

I have 854 k dps pr magma ball atm without considering pointblank so times that number with 1.5 which is about 1,3 mio dps pr ball

In your version that is considered and calculated.

In bossfights without ancestral call you have 9 balls where 30% hit ( That means around 3 mio dps).

I have 18-27 balls where 30% hit with 1,3 mio dps pr ball -> 7-10mio dps

I've picked som str gems and I have +50 str on one ring, which gives me a total of +50 str over dex at the moment (431 str / 381 dex)

I also like that I dont have to gemswap all the time :)

- Point Blank dps contribution is calculated in both cases. Just try to remove and put the talent/gem on on POB. The gain/loss of dps is the same.

- Ancestral Call should not be included as DPS on pure ST situations, as it wont proc as there are no additionnal targets. It is indeed needed to include it to bosses with Multitarget and mapping.

- Other point and I also totally forgot to sim it aswell, the standard to calculate dps for a build is to put Shaper as a target.

Moreover, it was not all about the dps, also about the gain of around 1K ES.


Theses are indeed only suggestions aiming to improve the build, not willing to being rude or to argue with the initial quality of your work here. Theses wont change the global power of the build much.

You can see in my videos, that I manage to hit with shadows :)

If I remove PB from my talent tree the DPS is not change i.e. it is not calculated.

I found the difference a bit odd so I went to the PoB calcs and noticed the main difference: I'm not wearing an Ancestral Protector gem! I switch it for a portal gem while mapping since the extra DPS was not really needed and I can't live without a portal gem :P

After putting it on the attack rate became a more respectable 5.44.

I was undecided on what to upgrade next but I decided on getting this:



I've been trying to craft it for a while but RNG hasn't been nice to me :( Guess I'm paying for the RNG on my current helmet and boots (both crafted with the first resonator).

Another thing I'm unsure on is the minimum amount of ES needed so I can do all content comfortably. My current setup (at lvl 92) will have around 8.7k ES. Then I have to decide if I want to remove abyss jewels for regular ones, losing ES but increasing my DPS. From your experience with end game encounters, would you be comfortable going below 8.7k?

Last league I farmed all content with 8,5 k ES, so you should have no difficulties now and delved 1000 depths
