Because in previous leagues we still had those base 5% of crit with controlled destruction. Now we have 0% and 0% increased by 300% (or 1000%) is still 0%.

dude this is a crit build. Spells still have a base crit chance, it just can be reduced to zero by multipliers (the ones we stack the good kind of)
Its only a problem for the non crit builds that also used EO since they would drop to zero

-100% chance is additive with other multipliers. It's 5% chance base, then -100+xx+xx+xx+xx,

I was also looking at this option. You have the power charge generation from 'Swift Killer', and survival from 'Ghost Dance' and 'Escape Artist'. I'm just not quite sure where to put the last two ascendancy points.
'Weave the Arcane' looks a bit underwhelming and I'm not sure 'Harness the Void' would even do anything for you.

Trickster seems fun for sure, but just look at the re*****ed power of the Occultist nodes for CI and WO, thats really hard to beat.
anyone got at least actual PoB build for non crit version- balanced items for it etc? i cant see any of it here.. only in elemental version, but i supose that its not really optimal for CI ocultist. thanks
