I personally stopped buying MTX the moment I found out Tencent bought them. The reason for this is because they can no longer justify the cost of their MTX for the game. Being a 10 plus-year-old game and now arguably a popular pick for the genre, all while being backed by a company that has major titles like Fortnite. The cost of MTX is no longer a financial reason to keep the game alive. Its now more a reason for Tencent to make money. So with that said we are now getting pay-for-game-settings instead of solid decision making.
