How the Betrayal Launch Went

"few server issues in the first hours" this is a joke right?
It really was one of the smoothest launches ever, and the content (which I was a little skeptical about - the complexity seemed a bit ott) feels really great so far. Smooth integration of past leagues, no annoying UIs, lots of variety. A+ you win again GGG. Great work.
Were still experiencing major server disconnects and lagging! this is not the best one yet, i like the reworked features but I never dc'd before until now. The only thing that has changed is the game! :(

No, no, just like only a couple dudes died in WW2.

Guys, thx for awesome work. Still, why you speak about ne expansion when ppl barely end storyline. It's like speaking about Christmas in June! :D
You really made my day and ruin my life with this game.
65:35 Steam to Stand alone ratio, nice.

Barring the slower patch times and tax on supporter packs (which I can just buy from this website), I like Steam for its ability to keep time, achievements, screenshots, and because of the ease of swapping between games using it.

Reading that post made it sound like GGG is run by Donald Trump - "biggest launch ever, our numbers were HUGE! That was the smoothest launch ever, it went so smooth. Liberal posters complaining of 6 hours of downtime and login queues are just pushing their fake news agenda".

This is the first league where the game was unplayable due to login issues for the first 3 hours of trying, sorry to break it to you. Lot of players getting a good lawl out of that assertion from Chris.

But hey, the legions of fanbois are stoked, so mission accomplished I guess.

What to say than a big fat Thank you to any and every one at GGG for this game. I play since the open beta days and the level of quality you got the game since then, simply sends chills down my spine.

People failed to realize how action packed this New game is, how OP the new crafting options are. They saw the nurfs to the previous content as a bad thing. All I can say, after getting some recipes unlocked, is that the game becomes more versatile every league and it makes difficult for me to get to the end game without enjoying to scoop around flipping every nook and cranny in each zone/map to see if there is a secret out there to be found. This is what an ARPG is all about and you guys are delivering 101%. Just release the expensive supporter packs I have the Need to spend some bucks in your faces for this awesome release/league GGG, again Thank you!

Edit: for those who tend to blame, since Atlas of worlds release and every big content release there was login issues to the extend of having to drop the game for 2-3 days till login servers got upgraded. This time around we was getting some queue to login, but I was playing the game since launch! Like, did you even tried to wait and see if you can login and it never happened???

We made it xD Noice)
I was a little sad the first 6 hours or so were unstable, but in no way blame GGG. Between being DDoSed, having a router crap out on them, and just being somewhat hardware-ly challanged when it came to the increase in peak players (which is a function of the increased success of the game), I find it to be a positive experience and will definitely play more of this league as I find the time for it. All launches have technical issues (error 37 anyone?), so yes - definitely worth the patience and the wait.

I'm very happy that Delve have already made it into the core game. That is a feat of its own! The fact that Einhar got some more screentime is great too - him and Niko has the quirkiest personalities around.

Your attention to detail and commitment to quality really show in the final product. It's an honour working with you.

I couldn't not read this in Malachai's voice. Thanks for bringing this story to life. I sometimes wish there was so much lore to dig into. The Nightmare was fascinating, and how most of the plot from act 1 to 10 revolve around The Beast itself or what it stood for, was quite a story to unfold.
