Thanks for the tree occultist tree. Why did you chose Vile Bastion? The only useful thing in it is stun immunity/ And you can get it by using cyclone instead of Worb.

The Trickery gives 20% damage + 10 intelligence. Surprised you skipped it.

with 2k int feeling so not enough burst dmg for legion-( in comparison with phys cyclone builds -(

Icestorm is not a "burst damage" skill. It his a very high DPS skill but we need to build it for seconds standing still to nuke the target. Icestorm really shines when we can precast it on target for several seconds (see Shaper fight when with a 7 seconds precast on him he goes down to 50% in like 4 seconds).

This league mechanics does not fit very well Icestorm mechanics but still, build can do entire content if played accordingly.

Just did it myself, killed UE and 5 army fight with only 9 days into the league (Winter Orb + Icestorm)

If you want to play "meta" skills go pure Cyclone this league, GGG made it too powerful now but I am 100% sure Cyclone will have the fate of Winter Orb in 1-2 leagues from now on a.k.a will be nerfed to the ground.

This is a build that can do anything in the game without modification. To be the BEST at something in the game, you need to find a build designed for that. It won't be able to do anything else though.
too bad only 6 sockets in weapon xD cause +increased area effect gem=precast all map with icestorm and boom)

and yeah...bad luck now, 800+ alt and no int/ES+12% int regalia

+1 question. for map clearing what better cold pen or energy leech?

Cold penetration is always better due to higher effectiveness of %more modifier of the gem.
Energy leech has 2x % more modifiers, one lower when you are on full ES and one higher when you are leeching(no full ES). But both possible modifiers are lower than Cold penetration modifier though.

And keep in mind that some maps , many rare monsters and bosses have increased elemental resistances, and %more modifier from Cold penetration is even more effective in these situations.

On the other hand if your damage is very, very low, Energy Leech will help you with the leech rate, you will leech more from every hit and thus higher chance of surviving against continuous damage.

Read in the first page of the thread Kelvynn's guide, section Build Theory->Offense->More details->How resist penetration work and you will understand why is best to have as much elemental penetration as possible even when clearing maps.

So thats why you get Divine Judgement? And its 5% pen better than ~100 int from jewel+30 dex/str node in my case?
