[3.6] The Blizz Sorc - Icestorm/Winter Orb CI Occultist - Viable For Everything
" try with the following : spell cascade/conc effect cold penetration controlled destruction energy leech elemental focus hypothermia Maybe Spell Echo also, i remember using it back in the days of self-casing IceStorm when CwC was not available. But anyways, self-cast IceStorm will gimp your experience by a a lot compared with channeled one, i would not try it unless i want to punish myself Last edited by lilianmarius#0775 on Apr 20, 2019, 6:13:28 PM

" You're not searching for rings properly. Try something like https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Synthesis/MqPRy6uJ . Stuff there is priced from 2c to 70c. I would definitely invest in might of the meek. Not only does it increase your dps, it also gives you 50 more int! Finally, the biggest bang for the buck is arguably crafting a chest. With some luck, you should be able to get an 18% chest for less than it would cost for the items you list above. A 6% chest is even cheaper -- my old one is for sale for 60c. You can search for chests with a free suffix that doesn't have an ES related craft on it and has a reasonable enough of ES. I paid 50c for the one I am wearing now. As a data point I am at 1894 int with only 3 6% increased int/attrs items (and the staff/belt, of course.) Last edited by Graiaule#7461 on Apr 22, 2019, 2:33:14 AM

Tried to self craft my own armour since I'm having hard time finding good stuff for sale on PS4.
Base item (ilv84): 20c Quality 27%: 10c Alt+Augment+Regal+Scour: 30c Annulment: 10c Links&colors: 45c Divines: 30c Acquiring 6% Attribute recipe: ~60c Crafting: ~148c Total cost: ~350c which equals about 5 exalts on console. These values is estimated and not exact since I didn't keep any track of my expenses. This is going to be nice boost through the red maps I just started to do. PS: finding Hillock mods was PITA. Had to go through 800-1300 pages of manual searching and highlighting any items with Veiled mods couple of times during a day for almost a week. Last edited by Tonuu#9130 on Apr 22, 2019, 8:04:04 AM

" Hey I just want to thank Lilian for helping me out here. It's very cool to be on the end of some amazing generosity. The gear got my int up to 1873 from 1618, and ES up to 11962 from 10578. I could actually break 1900 and 12000 with those jewels in different spots, but it screws up my str and resists if I do it. The only way to get my str above dex and fire res up over 75 but under my cold res is setup I have now. But I'm up to 83 and working my way towards the 90's. Hopefully I can try some endgame bosses soon. I've only been playing a few months and haven't done anything past T15 maps (my arc templar was too squishy to even try), but I'm confident this char will get to that experience. Thanks again for the help Lilian. |

Hi !
Thx for the build and the great guide. I managed to craft my armour : Now I need to craft the 6% increased attributes but can't seem to find the recipe. I couldn't find it in the lab in Act 3 imperial gardens and Hillock just doesn't show up in betrayal encounters. Does anybody know how to get it or would be kind enough to craft it for me ? Thanks for your help. |

" You should have more Int with these items. Your profile shows no jewels, at all. If you are playing without them - that's where your Int is. |
|
" That will be my aim. Just love how versatile the build is. |

Finally managed to craft some decent synthesis boots with % increased intelligence - my dream craft this league :)
After 2 failed tries and about 7 exalts spent on fractured bases managed to get in teh 3rd try 5% intelligence implicit on a ilvl 87 Arcanist Slippers. No additional movement speed also though because there really are no dual fractured ES based boots with high int (54+) and movement speed on market. After getting the base thought what can i do with it so i started to: - perfect fossil them to 29% in like 5 fossils. - spammed alterations on them in order to get tier 1 + Int and at least tier 2 movement speed(30%). - after about 600 alteration got Tier 1 movement speed (35%) and Tier 1 % increased ES so i decided to regal it maybe something good will be hit. - got shitty mod and after some thinking (i had 3 orb of annulments in stash) decided to annul it and go multimod even if i knew could not get Tier 1 + int with multimod. - lucky annul hit the shit mod, multimoded, added + maximum energy shield mod and + fire and lightning resistances to cap my resists. - made some lab runs to enchant them (i wanted damage resist penetration) but got increased movement speed which is not bad after all (45% conditioned movement speed) - after 6 divines this is the result: These are slightly better regarding my final Int value (2525 vs 2513) and my maximum ES (18.160 vs 18.125) compared with my previous boots but those had 8 % movement speed implicit: Dunno what to do now, i am thinking of keeping both pairs, try to enchant in Uber lab the 8% movement speed implicit one with movement speed if not hit recently for even more speed and use them for trash clearing (don't need mana leech anymore (90 mana regen/sec) except for no regen maps which i skip anyways and prolly i will try to enchant the 5% intelligence ones with damage penetration to use them in Uber Elder runs + Nexus bosses. " Ah, I missed that, sorry. Well league play is a great place to get items cheaper. Maybe I should start selling in Standard, lol. |
