You are 'luckily' wrong. My game on Steam patched a while back and is ready to go, in fact if I go in I get like 17000 inline.

I'll just restart when it is actually live, I just wanted my cache software to load all necessary files. But ya, that means at the time I pre-loaded there was already over 17000 people with the client open just waiting for the server to come online. Yish.
