Hi there. If you can afford a Tabula rasa 6 link chest. Use that untill you can afford a 6 link staff.
But if you insist on using a 5 link staff you can remove wichever gem you want tbh. I would probably remove immolate support.

I stongly suggest to get any 6link item asap.

Hello! I'm glad to hear that you enjoy melting a full screen of enemies within seconds of aproaching them.

Took a quick peak at the patchnotes during my lunchbreak.

PRE NERF
Level 18 313 to 470 damage 174% more damage with ignite
Level 19 351 to 527 damage 177% more damage with ignite
Level 20 393 to 590 damage 180% more damage with ignite

AFTER NERF

Level 20 332 to 498 damage 180% more damage with ignite

Armageddon Brand
Mana Cost at gem level 1 is now 15 (was 14).
Now deals 29 to 43 Fire damage at gem level 1 (from 29 to 44) and 332 to 498 Fire damage at gem level 20 (from 393 to 590).
Now has an added damage effectiveness of 75% (from 90%).
-----(Not sure what this means for this build since we are scaling damage over time and not flat added damage)
Now activates every 0.8 seconds while Attached (from 0.75)
-----(not a problem since we are focusing on the ignites and they will still remain on the target the same amount of time and be refreshed often enough)

So after patch a level 20 gem should be just above an old lvl 18 gem.

I'm not a math pro so cant really tell you the exact dps loss without having the updated gem in PoB.

But i'm still confident it will be a good starter build and a fast mapper.

theres a big change to tree also mostly related to phase acrobatics area take a look at pob when u get a chance

Hi! Home from work now. Took a look at pob.
The changes made around phase acrobatics makes me think it's more suitable to go back to MoM wich I used in the start.

Still over 200k shaper ignite dps. Wich is more than fine for any starter/mapfarmer.

yeah, That link is for lvl 90. It's not nice to link lvl 100 tree's to people since most people dont play a character to 100.

But yeah. There are some nodes that are close that improves the character for the rest of the 10 levels.

i got another question..

actually a very newbie one i guess

my first toon ever was ur build and i managed to get to t15 within the last 10 days of league when i started.. so i liked it very much

but checking POB it says 211k dps ignite + 81k hit

and while i was checking different builds.. storm brand said on POB 909k total dps.. so that means its 3x stronger in bosses/mapping?

Yeah there are tons of stronger builds out there.

The Goal for this build was a fast farmer with good mapping speed. I.e Ignite spreading thanks to the witch ascendancy.

Peronally never tried Storm brand since I was kinda tired of the whole Lightning scene. But yeah it looks very nice.

Some builds display their dps without taking into consideration if it's a boss fight I.E Shaper dps.

So when it says 1m dps it might be lower vs end bosses.

200k is the go to milestone for "ok" Shaper dps.

In the end it's all up to the player wether you want good farming speed or high bossing damage.

Would it be viable to take this build and just swap Armageddon brand with Fireball as a league starter`for 3.6? And swapping to fireball is there anything you would change in items / passivs?
