some pvp ideas
Ok so I started to come up with some ideas for pvp,
First is to either add a area or a zone in that allows for hunting mobs but also is like a cutthroat league area, for the default and hardcore leagues, so basically its a area with world pvp, mobs chances of drops increased and exp gained increased, when you die in this zone you lose 30% exp to the player who killed you, and also drop all backpack, but not equipped items, to get into this area it costs say 3 orbs of transmutation but if you kill a player they have a 100% chance to drop orbs of transmutation or higher but really low chance of the higher value currencies, so there’s high risk high rewards for this area and extreme fun, also to note even if on hardcore you die to mobs in this area you don’t go down to default as , you could be getting attacked by another player then the mob gets last hit, so that wouldn’t be fair. Make two zones with same rules one for solo and another for party’s (up to 3) Also to note you may need to make the damage when hitting other players lower than it is against mobs, like ½ dmg or something, it needs be people can last 5-8 hits at least, not 1 shotting each other, this refers to all pvp, but dmg needs to be enough so people can’t just regain more than being hit. The easiest way is I think is to just make it so the game differs from mob or player and reduces dmg by a fraction which works. Another idea is basically a perm cut-throat league in which when you die you drop backpack and 1 random item, but it is in your corpse and not available to loot, until a 2 minute timer is up, so you have 2 minutes to get your stuff back, but the person who kills you can also rekill you before you can get it back and loot the rewards after 2 mins or so Is up. just afew ideas for the devs. |
