[HELP] Sources of life leech for my build

So i have a build that i made and its really good. (My build)
all the gear and skill tree is there, including a POB link.

BUT, im trying to find an alternative for my watchers eye jewel, which is my ONLY source of leech.
it has the % of fire damage leeched as life anger mod.


i tried replacing it with a life leech corruption amulet, but the % leech is very low and its seems like the leech instances are too small.

0.2% vs 1.2% with the watchers.

so my question is: are there any other sources of leech for me?
assuming i dont want to get it from the tree, since im already lvl97 and i want to keep pretty much all of my nodes.

with my tree, i found that the formula for leech will be:
%leech X dps X 1.2 = life leech
example for 1.2%: 0.012 X 240k X 1.2 = ~3.5k
which is much higher than my leech cap at ~2k (i have almost 10k life).

240k is POB fully buffed dps against shaper PER BALL, idk how to calculate the actual damage, hard to tell how many balls hits the target.

the formula for %leech needed will be:
life leech / (dps X 1.2) = %leech

2000 / (240k X 1.2) = 0.7%
and i only have 0.2% with the amulet.
also, with mapping setup my dps goes down to 170k so i will need even more leech.

i thought it would be enough because i throw 11 balls per swing but when i tested it on a map it seemed like it doesnt work, or at least that the leech is too low to notice.

Any suggestions? :)

Watcher´s or leech from the tree is best source of leech.

Atziri's Promise has 2% chaos leech which is applied through this mod (Gain (10-15)% of Elemental Damage as Extra Chaos Damage during effect) and is temporary.

You can have 0.2% fire damage leech on ring (delve mod), 2% (0.4 vs shaper) from warlords mark

0.5% on amulet but it´s not a solution here.

You can also consider using life gain on hit (elder ring 16-20).

I dont want to rely on flasks, its bad for bosses, plus i have avatar of fire so i cant leech chaos damage.

warlords mark wont work on hexaproof maps.
also,getting this and/or delve mods on a ring with all the other mods i need would be almost impossible.

i do have LGOH rings, but i want leech too.


as you can see, there is alot of pressure on the rings.
life, LGOH, dex and resistances.


i guess there is no good alternative for the watchers eye right now.

Vitality Void, but I don't think it would be worth the skill points invested. Juggernaut has so much defense and life regen that you really don't need life leech. Chieftan and Berserker each have life leech in their ascendancy skills, if they added life leech to Juggernaut it would be way over powered I think is why they leave it out.

I played Juggernaut last league and defense was not a problem so I never had to think about life leech. The problem with him is finding enough damage if you want to kill Shaper. It's doable but harder since he has almost all defense, very little offense in his ascendancy.

Vitality Void is doable, but a long way from my build.

Undeniable node is a crazy dps boost in my build.
you dont need to worry about accuracy ever again and all the other mods are very useful too.
i have plenty damage, you can check the videos.

but you are not really killing in boss fights, or at least dont want to rely on it.
plus im losing the 10% pen enchant :)
OP: this is not how the leech works and you are also confusing average damage with dps

leech cap per instance (hit) is 2% of your max life. so if you have 10k life the leech cap per hit is 200/s. compare this with your average hit damage and % leech you get. If your damage is great enough, it is certainly possible your 0.2% leech has the same effect as 1.2% leech

i never said anything about average damage.
the numbers are from POB, my average damage is like 45k or so.

so i need to hit at least 10 times per sec to get my leech cap?
i think i can easily do that with 7-11 balls per swing with at least 13 attacks per sec even if like only 20% of the balls actually hit.

with mapping setup my average damage is ~23k.
so 23k X 0.002 X 13 X 9 X 0.2 = ~1k
9 for average ball count, 0.2 is assuming 20% of the balls hits.



here is a video with 0.2% vs 1.2% leech comparison. (uploaded in 4k, might take a while to go up from 360p)
i had to go for a crazy debuff map (vul, -10% max res and stuff) so the monsters could actually damage me ^^
you can see that with 0.2% the life is recovering slower and not filling to 100%.
with 1.2% the leech is much faster and you can clearly see the half opacity red thing over the life (like when you are using a flask).

Not sure how important that shield is to your build but you could try using thirst for horrors


the loss of life and armour could suck but it provides a decent % leech and only 100% hexproof monster/map/curse immune would be cause you not to leech.

Since the modifier is leech vs cursed enemies, I believe it is not affected by less curse effect like warlord's mark would, and you can still use your primary curse (looks like you are using temp chains) and get leech unlike something like warlord's mark which would need +1 curse to use along your main curse.

While we're looking at shields, Redblade banner is also an option, though I think keeping taunt up for a juggernaut maybe a bit more difficult? I can't remember anything atm
