As far as I know this is not correct. Crafting is of course still tied to the masters, as we need to progress in their content to unlock more crafting recipes. So they don't only exist for the purposes of decorations, as you put it.

Just a clarification.


Yeah, I was a bit mistaken here. Mastercrafting is still “master”crafting but tied to content completion as opposed to master level. I have no idea if these are related in any fashion. I certainly hope I don’t start each new season with all crafting recepies already unlocked...defeats the purpose of a seasonal reset. Nonetheless, I am very pleased to not have to grind out master levels with missions but simply manipulate the content I choose to do.

Very good question! But I fear the answer may not be the 'desired' one ^^ (on the other hand - how many encounters of Einhar should happen to be able to fill the menagerie to a crafting-useful amount...?)

- Invasion; there were some BS hardcore unfriendly bosses in there. I liked bomber crab (vaal DD) a lot; could this just go core like Anarchy (but only start in maps; maybe shaper made some mistakes and this is the result)?

My personal solution to reintroduce Talisman, would be to allow 5 of ANY sort, rather than different ones being required to activate the stone circle.

Warbands had a much cooler mechanic that hasn't been introduced to the main game (vaguely similar to Shaper and Elder influence, but on regular game zones IIRC).

Invasion introduced the vast randomness of enemies that appear in areas, prior to this you could know for certain which enemies would be in any given zone. I like your idea about tying the reason for the Invasion boss being there to Shaper, he is altering the landscape to suit his needs.
ROFL @ the people saying "you promised no Bestiary" They NEVER said it was NEVER going core. they said they had no plans to bring it core at that time. They went on to say that we would probably see it at a later date. Bestiary needed lots of changes to even think about making it core. From the looks of it, they have succeeded in making the changes needed to bring it core in a meaningful and useful way without all the headaches from the challenge league.

I love that it's going core. I can stop using a crap ton of alts on flask crafting. Thank you GGG :P
