Do I have to spend all my favor now? They will disappear too! Simple rule of thumbs: Standard ALWAYS gets it in the butt! I have never taken part of the hideout system. Seemed too time consuming and clunky.

" I've been advocating for a merchant master for a few months now as well (about the start of delve.) With Delve, Trials, Lab, High Level Mapping, etc... there are so many times when I'm online, and I'm playing the game, that I 1.) Can't leave the area, because that's the way GGG designed it Or 2.) It's not advantageous to blow a portal to make a trade. (I sell maps and jewels frequently) So, I either lose out on a trade, or someone else has to sit around and twiddle their thumbs, while they wait on me to finish my trade. A Merchant Master would fix that. I wouldn't even care if they gave you decorations for the hideout, or anything else but the ability to seed them with loot. Let them "Level up" or "Favour Up" Or however you plan to work that now, so that you can load them up with gear that you are willing to trade, and let that be the current "public stash tab" Then, when people want to buy, you can invite them to a party, they can go to your hideout, buy from the vendor, and tada! Ideas for how to make it work: You can limit how much you can add to the vendor by pages available. The more you do for the vendor, the more space you unlock You could limit the types of items you can list (you can trade gear, You can trade Maps, You can trade currency,) and break that down into unlockables. You coooould (but I wouldn't recommend it) limit the price of what can be added to the vendor and up it as your "level" (bear with me on this part, ok? ) increases with them. You could (but I don't recommend it) put timers on the "tabs" so that you can't just spam out things. When you sell an item, whatever spaces it took up in the tab are "locked" for X amount of time. I don't like the idea, because it would mean that higher inventory dense items would come at a premium over maps / rings / etc... But it's an idea. You could charge a "Fee" as if the master is taking a cut. Nothing horridly brutal, but something to "balance it out" You could add this to the game, and move the online catching tech that you've put into the premium stash tabs, and move it over to this vendor. And then, you could do something different with the premium stash tabs. I mean, when I bought mine forever ago, they didn't have this trading qaulity to them, and I still bought them. But I know some people have bought the purely on the ability to use them in trade. Hell, I'd go so far as to work with you to conceptualize this and push it into game, and I'd work work pretty freaking cheap. As long as you give me Naming rights on the vendor |

" GGG should seriously consider implementing a simplified Sims character needs bar, which activates in Town and Hideouts. That way people won't AFK for extended periods or their character will die. Standard characters lose 50% exp and HC characters just straight up rip. What's also great about this idea is it will bring about a new elemental of farming to PoE; Food farming to feed our characters.
