Announcing Path of Exile: Betrayal

Wow looks really well done, nice job guys.
I'm so hyped for hideout improvements and templates, I never thought those would actually come in honestly. My one curiousity the videos and reveal page don't mention is how are we going to acquire decorations now with the old masters MIA and no more need to grind levels? Also will there be additional decorations added alongside this update? (Not necessary but always welcome)
I hope that when the world comes to an end I can breathe a sigh of relief; because there will be so much to look forward to.
Double post sorry!

Not a fan of Masters getting kicked over to Maps by the sound of it. I'm pretty causal and can barely break into the Map system so I'd rather not see a system get kicked over to the hardcore only.
This one looks fantastic guys, I'll be grabbing a supporter pack. Really happy to see the hideout update, the crafting unification and the reintegration of Incursion + Bestiary. Syndicate stuff looks nice too of course :)

Big!

1.Will delve/incursion/bestiary stuff only be doable through the new mastas? Cos if so, then you're not really gonna have much access to those mechs i think, which kinda sucks. I was hoping for Delve to be incorporated as it is right now as an alternative endgame.

From the news post: "As the Immortal Syndicate ascended in power, the old cohort of Forsaken Masters mysteriously vanished. In their absence, Einhar, Alva, Niko, Jun and Zana have risen as a new group of Masters to aid you. Their league content, including Delve and Incursion, has been added as core Path of Exile content. Bestiary has been reimagined and simplified; Einhar will handle the nets as you focus on hunting the beasts."

I think this might put your mind at ease... or not, idk.
Thank you GGG-Team!

Amazing News.

Now only thing left is:

Better Trading-System

Extra Options to tune down Effects etc.

I will support you for making such a good Update.

Keep rocking!

It's not the Betrayal I'm worried about.

It's the Unlocking new crafting. I'm not skilled but I can usually get through the acts. During which I can bump into the masters and do their dailies, all of which were easy enough to me. Thus at least I could log in, do something, and log out for some progess into maps.

Now it sounds like my build will have to be good enough to Unlock new crafting mods before I'm allowed to boost them higher.
I'll buy a supporter pack this league, but only if Sao Paulo gets fixed. We always "start" late due to realm problems.
I almost absolutely never post in forums. I doubt anyone will read what I put here. I think the "new" part of this league, betrayer, is an absolute mistake. If it's anything like the lord of the rings games, it's a fun gimick for 10 minutes, and then it's just a slogging pain in the ass. I don't think it'll be fun and I don't think I can support something like this. I realize that everything is a rip off of something in some way and everything's been done, but this is shameful, honestly.

I do like all the revamped systems, new items, and integration of other leagues. I think that's all fantastic. Especially the master systems. I love that as a player that rarely makes more than 2-6 exalts a league that I'm getting the opportunity to play around with crafting more. I absolutely LOVED it in Delve.

But I also think adding banners as one more %$#(*^ button we have to push is too much. I already hate playing with flasks, it's not something I enjoy doing, it's redundant button pushing. Now you're adding more buffs on top of our buffs? How much crap do I need to keep track of?

As an end note, I've devoted around 2000 hours to Path of Exile. It's one of my favorite games to play. I support most leagues. I just really think, for this player, you dropped the ball hard.

I still look forward to playing, though, even if I don't mess around with the new system much.

Thank you
