Some tips for beginner to intermediate SSF players

Another leveling build with absolutely no special item needed:

Domination blow / herald of purity Templar Guardian, add a Vaal skeleton gem to 1 button zerg map bosses.

Destroys maps easily, is tanky (Guardian block skill, high regeneration, 20 Minions to chose from instead of you) and needs only a 5 link to comfortably level until red maps. Get some items with minion damage to improve later on (red maps).

It doesn't work good on things like elder / shaper, but everything else will be zerged.

I considered to play this build but in the end went for HoAg Gladiator, which plays a bit similar. But I might still give it a try. I know that Guardian is popular for the build, but could you please try to sell it to me and elaborate a bit why I shouldn't go Champion?

I am just starting to play more SSF.
I play on Xbox and find the trade system there not the best.
Most everyone sells items for 4x the amount or more compared to PC.

Yes, I know that it is because of a smaller player base and a smaller number of items being collected.

Also moving to SSF to force me to learn the game. You have so very good tips up there, for me going forward.

The master Crafting section is going to need an update in the next few weeks. As Betrayal league is changing the way master crafting works.


I play Enki's Arc Witch build I am going to use this as my league starter for Betrayal, it is easy to build and his guide is very nice user-friendly. He also has a small SSF section.
