Announcing Private Leagues
The hell?
The game already feels offline to me sometimes, and this will just separate the community ever further to a part where we basically play offline.. FFS, never seen such a dumb idea in my life. I hope this won't be implemented at the end. |

I think that is absolutely brilliant.
Some will argue about price or gating content (which it isn't), but businesses need revenue. The product GGG offer is outstanding and I will definitely continue to support them. P.S. The announcement tomorrow will be confirming details for POEcon next year |

" ^^ this. I really didnt expect dissapointment from both blizz and poe at the same weekend lul. GGG Patch Notes: "Fixed a bug where players actually wanted to play the game"
| |
What a shame. This is not even remotely interesting to me. The price is quite high if the community you are playing with is just you or you and one friend (usually i just play by myself or with my husband).
Additionally with the normal leagues and fulltime work there is not really enough time for another seperate thing. Oh well. Suppose there are people out there who will use this. |
|
Any chance we can get private leagues of the old game versions? As in, if we wanted to have a private league, where we can play the game at 1.0, or 0.1, or whichever. I imagine that'd have to be voided, but still...
I could care less about making the game harder, but I'd love it if we could use this feature to play builds that are no longer possible. |
|
The only thing that comes to mind really is that it feels this will devide the playerbase even more. A league feels pritty dead after 1month and spreading people away from the "core lague" to private once will devide us even more.
I might be completly wrong thou. |

Great "Pay to not win" system
| |
Absolutely bad idea - these leagues will be without any new content relative to the current leagues, the drop rates will remain tuned to the multiplayer game and you still have to pay for it, in general - entertaining garbage for streamers and no more.

So, which one of the top streamers do we have to thank for this idea? It seems that when the year is coming to an end, companies come with these genius ideas. Blizzard at Blizzcon, now you. What's next?
