Seems Tencent is doing its thing again...

if its free for solo league then i like it.
if its pay to play even on solo always..then its really expensive stuff... :| I swear if they make some maven "Simon says" insta-death minigame, sirus, exarch ball minigame then i wont play poe2.

ya i'd like to see a lot more options, including "fun" options where it drastically makes the game faster and easier instead of just "hard" options.
this would fit great for people who don't have a lot of time to play and are much more 'casual' than others. they could jump in and do a 20 day league but still complete everything they feel like they want to with drastically boosted rates or quant or mobs in general if not then i hope we see those events more often. |

can you clarify if the mods add item quantity or anything?
I.e., is it PURELY additional challenge, or is there additional reward as well? |

This is great, I've been waiting for this for years. Super hyped.

Aside from the fact that this will segregate MORE the community in different leagues...
Races were fun, really. There were awesome mods that made them fun. In a f2p game, it was an amazing idea. However, forcing now to pay to play those interesting modes, makes this game no longer f2p. Basically what they are doing is forcing to pay for features that were free before. That's it. Well Play Tencent, well played. Well, maybe not Tencent. First consoles and now this...It looks more like PoE-Activison now lol. After Tencent announcement I was starting to think about it, but now Im pretty sure I will not throw more money into this cash grab game, period. "That 12$/10 days if for the entire custom server of all 10 people. So your roughly 30$ a month is really more like 3$ per month per person. Far less of a cash grab then you are making it out to be. |

I really think private leagues with friends is a great idea! But in my mind, my feedback would be you slightly missed the mark.
We should be able to crowdfund say, 500 points, and buy a permanent private league, that can be reset (Where heroes merge to parent league) upon private league players majority vote. I really like the customization and emphasis on teamplay with friends, but really hate the fact it's CONTINUOUSLY pay to play. I don't mind paying a heavy upfront cost if say, that means my friends and I are locked in to a private league together that we control. But the fact they will only have a 2 month life span at max and it's pay to play, no thanks. Missed the mark. |

Hi GGG i find the idea really great but i've some concerns about option you may consider or not in the futur regarding private leagues.
1/ Will it be possible to modify a bit areas ? Example setting up the percentage of magic / rare / unique monsters ? 2/ I'm worry about the competitive part of these leagues, reward beeing an important condition for them, what are your plans for that ? Would it be possible if i create a league, to add items from the shop as reward for the top 3 ( rough example ), and even better make those rewards crowfunded by all participants ? Following that logic, would it be possible to add some conditions to the "how to win" part and what you have to achieve ( rough example: Reach level 100, kill all map boss etc ... ). 3/ How support will handle request if there are technical issues for x or y private league ? If i ask some friends to crowfund an expensive private league i expect in case of server issues ( big one eh won't cry for a one hour lag spike ) to be eventualy refunded for the current day. 4/ May i ask if it will be possible to exclude a player at any moment if he is proven to use any cheats or anything ( with support help ) and freeing up his slot for somebody else ? That's all i have for now, i personaly welcome the idea of private leagues since i think PoE community's creativity is amazing generaly speaking, but if it's just to allow few additional mods without any reward system or whatever i doubt it will be a thing except for streamers that already has a large community or popular youtube content creators. Hf :) Last edited by Heli0nix#0378 on Nov 4, 2018, 6:31:30 PM
